Today we said a final goodbye to our wonderful gummy bear, she was a fabulous ambassador for the breed, whenever we were on a roadshow she would "work the crowd". We will love and miss her always and a piece of our heart is with her at the bridge. Run free my angel. Xxxxx

When these little shy girlies start to find their feet it is so lovely - funny as well, she still has moments of worry even yesterday children were playing on the other side of a hedge - when she gets panicky the other two walk either side of her it's amazing to see. But we have traffic lights at the end of our road and she loves to peep in car windows, we stood for ages well she looked at the bus driver !!! Xxx

We're so looking forward to bringing this lovely boy home this weekend. Oscars even been curling up on the sofa rather than his usual roaches... I think he's making room for his little brothers arrival =) can't wait for the new addition to our family! xx

Can I endorse Kates comments regarding Judy. She really is the most loving affectionate girl once her initial caution on 1st meeting has passed. She loves the company of other dogs of all breeds and would fit perfectly into a quiet home. A viewing can easily be arranged at Daybreaks or at her foster home. Shy black greyhounds can often get passed by when it comes to finding them homes but Im positive that whoever decides they can give Judy that home will not regret it. She's a fabulous girl.

Norman brought Judy in today. She is currently being fostered for us but really needs a forever home. She is such a sweet little girl and although quite nervous at first will come and say Hello to you. She had a great time playing in the run with Sara's Charlie and Louis and my Greyhound Skip. She would be a perfect friend if you already have another dog. Xxx

That was quick, glad to see the reserved sign on this gorgeous boy. Very friendly and loves his food although did not like his bath. I hope he is still there Sunday so I can walk him. xxxx

Happy birthday Philip.... he's been such a good boy... happy racing up and down the garden after his ball... then chilling out in front of the tv... has now found his comfy bed. .. he's definately mummys boy... let's me clean ears and teeth then gets a yummy treat ...... settled in so well..... love him too bits ....xxxx

Foxy went to see the vet for his vaccination booster today. He was very good in the car, choosing to sit looking out of the back window watching the world go by. He was brilliant at the vets and didn't seem to notice the injection! On the way out we bumped into Lorraine one of our volunteers with her Greyhound Norah and Whippet Sonny. Foxy was happy to meet them both. On the way back to the car he saw a lady pulling a small shopping trolley behind her; the look on his face was priceless...I'm sure he thought it was some sort of strange animal! Who ever is lucky enough to take Foxy home will have lots of fun introducing him to the big wide world. He is a super lad. Xxx
