OMG one very lucky girl ! It happened to me when we first had Paddy..He ran out the front door as i opened it to postman and, looking pleased with himself, ran up and down the road Screaming at traffic just like you..a lorry stopped to help and being a friendly hound he went over for fuss and came back to me having managed to grab some treats Its a moment you will never forget in a hurry I really feel for you..So pleased she's safe x x 🙂 Hugs to you all x x

Oh my goodness what a horrible experience for both of you. I can only imagine how terrified both of you must have been but so pleased and hugely relieved that you are both ok. Hugs all round xxx

"That'll never happen to me"... or so I thought, but it most certainly did this morning and I feel as though I've swallowed my heart. I was walking Brae along Hollywood Lane at 9.15am (Rosie's on bed rest having ripped off her dew claw!), when there was an awful sound of tyres squealing behind us. I turned to see a head on collision due to the imbecile driving a Discovery speeding around a bend on a greasy road. The impact sound was so loud it startled Brae who slipped her lead and ran off at speed. I ran after her and felt so helpless as the poor mite looked confused and scared wanting to run across the road. Arms waving manically to warn oncoming vehicles "that's my dog... Brae, Brae..." and somehow (I still don't know how but someone was looking down on us), I slowed my pace and walked the last few meters to her, managing to grab her collar, give her a big hug and reattach her lead. We were both shaken by the event and I count this as a lesson learned. Had I have been walking both girls, I don't think I'd have been able to run after Brae and rescue her safely. Tash
