I met Ace today when I popped into the kennels. Oh my goodness she is gorgeous and just wanted quiet fuss and cuddles. I wished I could have put her in the car there and then but we are strictly a 2 dog family. I've sent her my cuddle but I might just have to call in again for some real cuddles with her. I hope someone falls for her very soon xx

Daphne (Finch)

Well Daphne has been with us a whole 2 weeks now.....and it feels like she has been here for ages. We had one night where her and Dodger were obviously sorting out the house rules between them selves... all very vocal, but we were determined to leave them to it. By the morning, they were absolutely fine, and obviously besotted with each other. They do nothing but wag and now play together, chasing round, spinning on the spot and play bows..... yipping at each other...OMG they are so so cute together, can't believe how much we love them both. Best thing we ever did bringing Daphne home with us 🙂

Sammy is settling in very well. He has taken over the sofa completely. He has made friends with my two cats already. He doesn't like being left yet, we are still working on that one. He is a little nervous out in the garden as a motorcycle out in the back lane frightened him. I have to go out with him. He is ok when we go walking.

Belle

I absolutely loved the beautiful Belle when she came with us on Stratford walk today Her shiny black coat is in great condition -gorgeous eyes that melts your heart and every time we stood still she leaned against me for cuddles and a head massage She fell asleep in the car on the way back with her head on my arm and it was so hard to let her go once we got back to Daybreaks hotel This lovely friendly girl is great company Good luck sweetheart on getting your forever home soon... Someone's going to have a lovely little girlie to take home to love. X x X

Met Saffy yesterday and we fell in love. To make sure we weren't dreaming, we met her again today - she's beautiful, graceful, mad, plays with toys, gorgeous, beautiful....you get the message! We're smitten and hopefully will be having cuddles on our sofa soon forever!

It sounded like Casey was not having a very good day, but he went out for a walk with me this afternoon and was perfect. Walked very well and really enjoyed fuss and treats back at HQ.

Rio
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Rio was back to form today. He was clearly feeling rough yesterday but was full time of it today. 5 minutes in a kennel with him, Maggie and a bag of treats left me in doubt that they were both in a particularly good mood. Great fun.

Hugs for my sisters- hoping you find homes very soon. We all hope to be at next months stratford walk, (this is where I found a family to adopt ) so if you are still at Daybreaks ask Auntie Ruth if you is allowed out to play!!. Loves Jato. Xxx

Hi Belle here.Today I went out into the big wide world to Stratford walk with Paddy and I had a wonderful time. It was lovely to meet so many of my friends and we did lots of sniffing and greetings. I know i'm going to enjoy retired life,the country air and walking by the river meeting people was super. I met some funny shaped dogs who were not greyhounds,but I very quickly realised they were just dogs like me and after a quick hello it was off to see what I could sniff out next.After the walk all the houndies got lots of sausage treats...it was greyt. Everyone said what a lovely pet I will be when I find my forever family. I'm off for a snooze now and to tell George all about my adventure. Bye for now...Belle xx

Lots of love to Ladysmith in her new home tonight...it was very quiet at the kennels at closing time this evening. She usually has a little chat to us before we go and we leave her with a treat. Have a lovely new life little girl! Xxx
