Vegas

Well isn't Vegas a happy bean?! She was very well behaved when she let me practise taking temperatures for college. I'm sure this girl won't be here long and will soon have a sofa of her own xx

Snap is a great help in kitchen. His specialities are sniffing worktops and cleaning up dropped food.

Jed
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well as most grey owners know it is a constant battle with their teeth, brushing can be messy and not their favourite past time. So when I replaced my own electric tooth brush and was just about to throw away the old one, I thought, I wonder! Well I have just used it on both Jed and Lottie and guess what they loved it! I could not believe it I have never brushed Jed's teeth so easily. Lottie was not as sure as Jed but we still managed to brush them.

Unfortunately Midge is no longer reserved, the family were upset but feel she is not right for their situation at the moment.

Charlie Mouse
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Melysa , so sad to hear you have lost your Mom. I am not surprised all the residents loved seeing Charlie Mouse. Bless him. When my Dad could no longer walk and had to go out in a wheelchair Twiggy would walk right next to him and would wait with him to cross the road; she felt it was her responsibility to look after him. Dogs never cease to amaze me. Thinking of you. Love Kate, Twiggy and Skip. Xxx

Sorry to hear your news Melysa, you are absolutely right our hounds make such a difference, Jed and Lottie go into a care home once a week now and you can see the joy they bring. I am sure your mum really loved seeing Charlie Mouse who could not.

Charlie Mouse
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I just want to say a special thank you, to my beautiful Charlie Mouse. He has come with me every time I have visited my Mum in her nursing home, for the past 3 years or so. He made the visits so much better - she loved seeing him. He was so lovely, calm and gentle with everybody there. He would go up to each resident to say hello and then a goodbye. Sadly, my Mum died on Tuesday evening, after losing the use of her legs and succumbing to vascular dementia. She had given up eating and drinking and was ready to go. She used to be a dancer, so I like to think she is dancing from cloud to cloud now (and maybe annoying my Dad and the other husbands, just a little bit!). It made it all so much better to come home and be greeted by Charlie Mouse and Star and to have a night walk in Roheath, with them and Sam, and to look at the stars and just surmise. These hounds are such a blessing, thank you x
