Gigi would really like her own home now! She has been very patient and is a good girl. We had a nice walk in the frosty sunshine this morning and she behaved very well. A lovely girl. xx

Sadly Kizzy has been returned this morning. She is stressing when she is left alone and we really feel she would suit a home where she has the company of another dog. She is totally cat friendly.

Daphne (Finch)

Little Finch made me chuckle today. She shares a kennel with Johnnie who can be quite boisterous and active. On previous occassions, I've seen him barging past Finch to get a treat, lead up etc. Fnch has obviously decided to fight back and she now pushes herself to the front and gives as good as she gets. This morning she leapt over Johnnie towards me as soon as she saw meaty strips. Finch is a little cutie learning to look out for herself. Lovely.

Snap was in very good form today. He and Lucy came out together with me for a walk this morning and were both impeccably behaved. What a lovely way to clear out the Christmas cobwebs - walking two majestic hounds on a cold sunny morning. Snap is a wonderful greyhound.

Johnie

This handsome boy just wants to play & snuggle! Every time he goes back in his kennel, he has a mad five minutes rearranging the bedding, backside up in the air and tail going like mad! His kennel mate, the pretty Finch, just looks on as if to say "boys"! He responds very well to you and I think he just cant wait to get out into the big, wide world. xx

Obviously Tiny isn't happy with the mild weather and decided to make a white Christmas of her own!! I was met this morning with a kennel full of white stuffing and a very thin and sad looking pillow!!! She is such a sweetie I couldn't be cross, especially as she lay upside down on her bed later intently watching me mop the floor - bless her. xx

My clean kennel award today goes to the very pretty Lucy, and of course her handsome kennel mate Snap. On opening up I had to double check they had actually spent the night there and hadn't sneaked out to a party! A quick straighten pf the blanket and they were done. Lucy is such a pretty and friendly girl with the cutest nose, I really hope she doesn't have to wait too much longer for her own home. xx
