Hi All, Greys & Humans, Message from Stanley & I in the New Forest. We were up for the Solihull Show, which was great. Nice to see lots of us fabulous greys and their humans. I have now been with my humans for 4 years today - Hip Hip Hurray. I entered the 10 year old class - runner up shall we say since there were only 2 entrants. Stanley has now been with us for 3.5 years. He entered the 6/7 year olds and came 4 out of 6. Love to all. Hoping you greys looking for home don't have to wait long as so nice having your own sofa. Take care. xxx

This morning three wagging dogs were waiting at the bottom of the stairs, up until today Jato has slept on the beds in what used to be our utility room - now called the dogs bedroom, and waited for me to go to her. She is very nervous on her last walk we were followed by a man, in a hoodie with a very big beard one of these upset her so today with lead and muzzle on her and leads on the other two - she couldn't get up so took her lead and muzzle off and left her at home, as we went down the road I looked back and there was my 16 year old son and Jato following us- she had got up after we left, let him put her lead and muzzle on and gone with him- most shocking she had got him away from an x-box. Xxx

Ronnie had a long day at the show today, he even came first in the best ears!! The judge said he had an odd looking ear (as one had decided to flip over - haha) He behaved impeccably well around all sizes of dog, spending most of his time with myself, Sara and Lorraine's non greys. He is a dream to travel and jumps straight into the car, and soon settles once you start to travel. He was a little stressed at the amount of people that were there but overall seemed to settle a little more as the day went on, I really hope this super boy's home is around the corner! He gets my cuddle tonight, even though we had many throughout today 🙂

Thank you to everybody who came to see Dex at the show today. After an understandably nervous start, Dex really settled down well and enjoyed his morning out. We noticed that he really enjoyed the company of other dogs both greys and other breeds and seemed to take everything in his majestic stride. We weren't sure how he was going to react to such a busy event but after we had met Ronnie and Jess he relaxed and took it all in. It was nice to meet Star and his family who all were pleased to meet D. We all had a quick kip at our house before heading back to Daybreaks. All in all an enjoyable day out but more importantly it was good to see Dex so well behaved with dogs and people that he had not met before.
