A quick business lunch with Dex today. He was busy being groomed when I arrived but once done, we sat on his bed munching biscuits and treats. Once finished, Sir lay on his back while I massaged his tummy. He's got us very well trained I think!

I called in today and went straight to see lovely Jato. She was so excited to see me in her kennel and her tail was wagging like mad.About a hundred kisses later she came out for a walk. I was thrilled when she did not back away and was happy for me to give her plenty of fuss outside too. I think the loving happy little Jato is starting to come through even more now.Add to this the fact Jato is such a pretty girl,my only surprise is that she is still waiting for her forever home.My electronic cuddle for you little poppit xx

Very sadly Gooner has been returned today. Unfortunately his owner thinks he is a little too bouncy for her to cope with. Although his stay with the family was only short she said he was super and hopes he will find the right home very soon. Xxx

Imagine my surprise today when I unpacked some shopping only to find a box of meaty Bonio, dentastix and a jar of peanut butter. If only we were to have a canine visitor this weekend, we might find a use for it all!

Sail

Sail has been at Daybreaks for approx 1 week and today enjoyed his first day out of kennels with a visit to Elmdon Park. At 7 years of age he is quite a senior citizen to be looking for his first ever home but please do not be put off by his age if you are considering offering a home to this beautiful Blue Boy. His behaviour this morning could not be faulted in any way. He travelled well in the car, is very affectionate and behaved impeccably with all the many other breeds of dogs he met(including small fluffys) one of whom he allowed to nuzzle up to him at close quarters. He was an absolute joy to take out and the family who decide to adopt him will be taking a very special greyhound into their home.

Ahh you can't go wrong with Brett Lee in him! sounds like you had a lovely day with Griffy,due to how calm he was around new experiences to him.Good behaviour like this is a massive bonus as it can take a lot of hard work & patience to get to this stage and allows you to enjoy your dog more as they can go many more places with you. Griffy sounds like a good opportunity for someone but I wouldn't hang around too long as I can see Linda having another home check!
