Hello to all my pals (greyhound and human) at Daybreaks; Seth here. Just wanted to let you all know that I think I am going to love it here at my forever home with my new mom (Debra). Loving my new bed, food, and walks. Mom has even bought me some toys to play with; a ball, 'slipper' and rope, which I have lots of fun with. Mom has also told me that I have been a very good boy in the house. Lots of love, Seth.

Pepper spent the day at my house as I took Tess in for her dental. She was golden and is an absolute treasure. She was so happy to see Tess when I brought her back from the vets earlier. Sadly it is Pepper's turn tomorrow for her dental 🙁

Tess went in to Fivelands today for a much needed dental. Bless her, she only has the 4 canines left. She is recovering nicely and looking forward to going to her new home with Pepper next week. xx

Hi guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that Cally is a real part of the family now (she is currently snuggled up on the floor next to me). She is loving her walks in the woods out the back of our house, and loves as much attention as you can give her. She is also amazing with both of our children 2 and half and 4 and a half - they love giving her cuddles and helping do her food and groom her. She is fab about this and is so patient with them. Equally the children seem to know instinctively when to leave her alone, I think this comes from having grown up with their grandparents dalmation/greyhound cross (Whom Cally also gets on very well with). We are making slow progress with the stairs, treats are helping with this - she now puts her front paws on the 2nd step and stretches the front of her body to the 5th step to retrieve the treats. She is definitly very intrigued by going up them and I often catch her peeking round the corner to see what is going on. I think eventually with perserverance that she will find her confidence with this - she is happy using steps and stairs when we are out, I think it is just because our stairs are quite enclosed and can be quite dark. We will not give up as she is an intellegent girl and will get there eventually. We will continue to walk her around to the front of the house for now. We love her to absolute bits and couldn't imagine our lives without this black beauty. xxx

Thanks to Norman and Jake for taking Millie out for her first walk in the park today. She was very lonely when Jimie, her kennel mate went home...sure it won't be long before she too finds her forever home. Xxx
