Billy and Mimi are keeping each other company in the kitchen kennel/run, they get on so well together and make a very good looking couple! 🙂 Xxx

A big cuddle to Nicola tonight, she has a nail bed infection which is very sore. She is not able to go for a walk at the moment, poor little lass...what she really needs is a comfy sofa of her own to rest on! Xxx

Sending my cuddle to Billy tonight We too had the same problem with our first grey and pet bird Luckily with training and a water spray the dog soon got bored and stopped and our bird forgave him lol However we appreciate how difficult it was at the time Billy will soon find his sofa I'm sure x :))

    I’m Homed

Today marks a week since we picked up the Beautiful Cally, although it feels as if she has been apart of our family forever, so I thought I would give you all an update. She has settled in so well and is great with the children. She loves her cuddles and toys and playing with my In-laws Dalmation/Greyhound cross. We have wanted a dog for so long and Cally has made our family and home complete. She is a little wary of the stairs at the moment but we will work on this once she is fully settled in. We couldn't be more in love with this cutie if we tried xxx

  • Billy

    I’m Homed

We are both very upset at having to return Billy. When we first had him he was lunging towards our pet bird. After a bit of training and help from Linda and Paul he stopped doing this, however our bird didn't forget this and everytime Billy would enter the room or stand up he would have a panic attack. Billy is a lovely boy, he stretches his front legs in the morning when we come downstairs (my girlfriend says he's bowing to us!). We then give him his cuddles and wipe away any sleep from his eyes. He is 100% clean in the house. He mastered the stairs pretty quick. He doesn't pull on the lead, he's a pleasure to walk. He will pull when he sees cats or squirrels, but soon settles back down. Again, we feel very emotional about all this, almost like having a death in the family, but the situation was very stressful, keeping Charlie in another room didn't work as he felt left out and would squawk. Remembering to keep them separated when going out was becoming a pain too. He would make a lovely pet and companion.

Sending a cuddle for Billy. Such a difficult situation when an existing family pet is upset by a new addition. Thinking of everyone concerned xx
