Where do we begin when starting to gush about this gorgeous, loving boy? We were lucky enough to (at separate times) sit cuddling Ravi today. He is so gentle and has soulful eyes (talking to you through them). If we had the room, he'd have been coming home with us today. Can't speak highly enough about you beautiful boy and we are watching closely to see that you choose a loving family to adopt who will cherish you and lavish you with love. Popped into Daybreaks earlier with a few goodies for the 4 legged beauties and my oh my, what a gorgeous girl Susie is. She's so very shy but did allow us to gently stroke her as we were fussing Al (who's doing a great job of playing 'big brother' in the same kennel). This little poppet needs a family who have the time & patience to bring her out of herself, as beneath the nervous exterior, there's one beautiful little greyhound just waiting to have heaps of love, snuggles & fun.

Susie has spent an hour this morning in Elmdon Park. Her confidence grew the longer we were there eventually allowing herself to be fussed and stroked by people she had not met before. Also she has no problems with small dogs and it seems she would probably be able to share a home with them. She travelled well in the Trust van -- particularly on the return journey. Her cat test went very well also . A shy cautious girl who in the right enviroment should make a lovely companion.

Happy Birthday to our lovely Lola.....11 years old today! We feel very blessed that you chose us and that we've had so much fun together for the last 6 years. We've had a nice walk this morning with sausage treats to keep you going until breakfast. Now it's a day of snoozing until pilchard cake time later on! We love you loads sleepyhead....Mum, dad & sis Lena xxxx

Cadbury

I had the pleasure of taking Cadbury to Elmdon Park today and he was absolutely PERFECT! He had no trouble jumping in my car. His only problem was that it took me far too long to unlock the car and open the door for his liking! Once at the park, he couldn't wait to get out. He walked like a dream and I could have almost forgotten at times that he was on the end of the lead. We met lots of smaller dog and he wasn't interested at all. He didn't even turn his head to acknowledge their presence!! He stood and allowed himself to be stroked by some small children and was genuinely not fazed by anything. He is going to make a superb pet and I hope he finds his special sofa very soon xx
