We took Jim to Wren hall today for fundraiser. He was very excitable in the car but mingled well with other greys and non greys. A strong lad but likes lots of fuss... mary/john xx

We took Rose to Wren Hall today for tea/cakes fundraiser.. she travelled well and was a pleasure to sit with and chat with other grey owners... She would make a perfect pet for 1st time grey owner....mary/john Xx

Cally spent another lovely weekend with us. She was so much more relaxed and self assured in the house this time, just a cursory sniff or two round the rooms on arrival then she settled on her bed and was a pleasure to be with, She definitely has a cheeky little girl hiding inside - not only did she run after a squeaky toy this time, she gently picked it up and took it to he bed then proceeded to have a mad time throwing it around, squeaking it, back end up in the air and tail going like mad! She also nearly managed a roach - I think she scared herself by nearly rolling onto her back, so she flopped back again with a very startled look on her face! We took her to Wren Hall this afternoon and she was quite happy in the company of other Greys, but was a little phased by another breed that came into the marquee and bounding up to her. I think once her self confidence improves and builds she will be better able to cope with the big, wide world, she just needs her chance now to settle into her forever home and blossom into the beautiful pet she will make. Sleep tight sweetheart, sweet dreams. xx

Met the lovely Jimmy at Wren Hall today what a fab grey took all the activity in his stride please don't be put off by his size my girl Lottie is big but it has never caused me any problems.

"Afternoon all, Cally here. Well I have had another little holibobs with Shanesmum again this weekend so that I can go along to Wren Hall and see if my new Mum & Dad might be there - there is also cake apparently so I am looking forward to that!! I have been a good girl again and was a bit more confident this time, although noises do startle me and make me jump! I even had great fun with a squeaky toy. Am just getting ready for my lunchtime treat now before we get ready to go out- I must remember to leave plenty of room for cake! Big woofs to you all, Cally xx"

He loves the sound of his own voice unfortunately, and is living proof that you rarely get brains and beauty in the same package..... But don't let him put you off if you are new to greyhounds, nearly all are a lot quieter than he is! Xx

We met the lovely Socks today on our Saturday Greyhound Bank Holiday Walk, what a lovely girl, great personality and so soft. She'll soon get the right home 🙂 xx

Socks
Over the Rainbow Bridge
So so sad for socks, she is so lovely and deserves a loving home like they all do. We are coming over to the kennels next friday, our 2 greys are having a pamper day, and if socks is still there she is going to get the biggest cuddle from me, but i hope she will have been rehomed xxxx
