I’m Homed
I went with Paul and his new owner to the vets prior to him going out to his new home yesterday afternoon. He is booked to go in for a dental next Tuesday and it is estimated he will probably lose around 14 teeth 🙁 I wanted to say once again sorry to everyone who had to wait to see me yesterday - the day was hectic and I finally got home after 7.30pm after a warehouse trip..... no rest for the wicked I guess!

Jed
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We Jed's limping is down to a corn so both Jed and Lottie are going in next Thursday, 'job lot'! I was concerned about Lottie going in for her dental as I know she would get stressed feel more relaxed now knowing they are going in together, going to seem really odd having a house with no dogs.

Hi Rose, welcome to Daybreaks. You look lovely and I'm sure you will soon settle in. Would have liked to have met you tomorrow but unfortunately I have a horrible dentist appointment so may be next week if you have not found a sofa by then! xx

May
I’m Homed
Took May to the park today for her first visit. She was very well behave in the car. She was eager to walk at first, pulling a little but soon relaxed. Excited to meet other dogs but once she realised they weren't bothered with her she was ok. I'm sure a few more walks in the park she will be fine. Settled down in the car on the way back, no trouble .

Sassy
I’m Homed
Sassy has today paid a visit with new girl May to Brueton Park. She will not be 3 years old until May so is still really just a baby and obviouly full of life and anxious to discover the big wide world which until today she had never visited before. Considering this was most probably her first ever outing from a life spent in kennels she behaved very well. Although obviously very curious to meet non greyhounds for the first time ever she behaved very well and did not show any aggression towards them whatsoever -- just curiousity. She is a very lively girl with real character who I would think is best suited to a home with a family who could offer her an active life. Hopefully this home will arrive for her very soon.

Eoin (Pronounced Owen)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Have just booked the lovely Shaun, Peg & Eoin into have pamper sessions with Auntie Lorna on Saturday. Just an update on Eoin, he settled straight away & is so relaxed and settled. He has come on so well & is doing really well. After nagging my lovely husband for nearly 3 months to foster Eoin its the best decision he ever made. They all get along really well, Shaun being in charge grumbles at them if they are annoying him, peg is the naughty one & Eoin & Peg play together while Shaun sleeps!! When my husband suggested having a retired grey i didn't know what to expect but they are nothing like I imagined. They are so loving and gentle & give you so much love, I couldn't be without them now although a little more bed & sofa space would be nice! xxx

Neval
I’m Homed
So pleased to see you fostered Neval, don't worry about the separation anxiety, you will overcome it I promise. Our 2nd grey Peg suffered terribly from it something unknown to us as our first Shaun settled from day one. Peg took time to settle & adjust but with all the help and support we received from Kate, Ruth & Lynn (our homechecker) Peg has blossomed into a very happy, cheeky and mischievous girl XX good luck Neval, stay strong lovely xx
