Hello JewelintheCrown. I'm sorry I didn't see your posts yesterday. Lottie is indeed adorable and so very loving. Please don't worry - she is eating well and sleeps downstairs with Surprise, our older greyhound at night with no problems (totally clean). She has been here a week and her playful personality is definitely coming out - in this she has a willing partner in crime with our little black lab, Roxy. Having had her here for just a week I know it must have been incredibly difficult to bring her back to kennels. Ruth has our details if you would like to get in touch directly and we would certainly like to hear more about lovely Lottie! In the meantime I will give her lots of cuddles and love from you and Ella Mae xxx

Max update. He is eating really well. Yesterday it was cereal for breakfast, then at lunchtime it was mini fish and chips, and for supper it was sausage casserole with pasta and dried food. Again clean bowl and even went and checked the other bowls to see if there were any leftover bits. Sadly not. We have however had a couple of unsettled nights. Have made him his own little den so will see how he is tonight. He is so gorgeous and gives loads of kisses, but I have to try and ignore him if I go out or go upstairs as I don't want to encourage any attention which he might associate with separation even if it is only for a few minutes. If I think I need to I will obviously contact Ruth or the kennels for further advice. He is still not doing the stairs, if he was it might help as he would be with me even though the other dogs have the run of the house. But as I say he is gorgeous. X
