Thank you Tash xxxx Just have to say again how adorable Lottie is and so loving. Being a greyhound and so young I think it helps having other dogs around. She is making herself at home and she is a very busy girl, into everything. I'm sure familiarity with surroundings will help. Initially she didn't want to venture onto the lawn - hence the accidents in the garage as it's hardstanding like the patio. But we know this now and she has become more confident and has had a couple of forays onto the grass with Champ. Apart from that, she is coping with all the sights and sounds of the farm very well. Just a lovely, special girl xxx

We have had a lovely Christmas with Saffy, she is a star. She loved opening her presents! She has been completely dry at night since we have had her and in the daytime for the last 3 days. She has not been on any medication during this last week either. She is good on her lead and doesn't pull like our Molly does. She is intelligent, understands a lot of commands and is obedient. She spent the first 5 nights downstairs by herself but has since progressed onto the pet bed on our bedroom floor, whilst Molly sleeps on the bed with us. She loves to be with people and will follow us about a little (especially into the kitchen) however, a firm "go and lie down" sends her back into the living room onto the sofa. Not sure about the large bangs, but she has been in a house with my three noisy children and their friends when they come round without a problem. We will see how she is on New Year's Eve with the fireworks! She really is a gorgeous girl. xxx

Tiger has today spent the afternoon in Brueton Park where he proved what an absolutely wonderful companion he is going to make to the lucky family who eventually adopt him. On an exceptionally busy sunny day the park was full of children and small dogs. Tiger met them all in the same calm relaxed manner. It was as if he had been doing it all his life. He travels well in the car and is sensible on the lead. This lad has a wonderful temperament and was a pleasure to take out. Hopefully his permanent home is not now far away. He most certainly is ready for it.

I have just had a report that Nugget, one of our beautiful black greyhounds escaped out of his garden at around 5pm this evening in the Handsworth Wood area. If you are local, could you please look out for him. He is a big friendly boy who has a collar with ID on, is chipped and of course tattooed. If you have any information please call me on 0121 782 7702.

Lottie (she doesn't seem to recognise Penny) has been with us on her Xmas holidays for a couple of days now. She is a very, very sweet little girl, a little lively being so young and definitely inquisitive but with such a loving nature. She is eating really well and has been clean in the house (although a couple of accidents in the garage as we got to know each other!) She sleeps downstairs with Surprise with no problems and is fine with both of our labs (Roxy thinks she is the bees knees and loves to play!). Unusually perhaps for a greyhound she has shown no interest so far in jumping on the armchairs or sofa. She is such a joy and an absolute darling so I can imagine how hard it was to return her to kennels, but she so deserves her forever home xxx

Sadly Max has been returned today due to the family's extended working hours. He has been in a home since May 2014. They are very upset as Max was great with their daughter and they clearly loved him a lot. He has been stressing with being left for longer and we hope he will find a home very soon.
