Oh Ruth, so glad Georgie is back at home with you. I have had her on my mind all afternoon. What an amazing little girl she is and what a fabulous vet you have. Hope all continues to go well for her. Sending her gentle hugs. Xx

This absolutely beautiful girl has been dropped off at our house by Kate (thank you so much Kate - you should be having a day off). She was speyed today but as she was discharged this evening I was unable to pick her up due to collecting Georgie. She is absolutely stunning but I don't want to frighten her yet by taking her photo so this will be done tomorrow 🙂

Our tough little boot has been through a big op today - a large mass was found on ultra sound by her kidney and it was debated whether to proceed with the surgery or not due to her being so frail and elderly. Her pre-op bloods came back looking good and so she was put on a drip and off to theatre she went...... She was in the fantastic hands of Chris Lancelot at Fivelands and she is now back at home and settled following her extensive surgery with other tumours removed at the same time. I didn't think I would be bringing her home but I have and I am over the moon.... she is one little amazing fighter 🙂

You had a lot of fun in the run this morning Eoin. Such a cute, playful boy. Just don't understand why you are not on a sofa yet. Loads of hugs, gorgeous. xx

Our beautiful little Georgie Bean is going in for her spey today. It is something I have discussed at length with many but due to the fact her season was heavy and long and she has mammary tumours already, she is going to be at greater risk of pyometra if she isn't speyed. She will have the full works with pre op blood tests to ensure she is fit for surgery - today is going to be a long anxious wait but she is a tough old boot.......

A greyhound may be for life , not just for Christmas , but they're a bit like Christmas in that you get out what you put in. Invest some time in this beautiful chap and you'll have a friend for life.I truly believe they're medicinal too -my blood pressure went back down after having our grey and taking her for walks.

My much loved Bouncer (chasing rabbits in the sky) had a big spinal operation when he was about 8. He made a full recovery so please be optimistic. I just had to be supadupa careful about what he was allowed to do for about four months - like stairs, leaping after squirrels etc. Sending Norris all good wishes from the seaside. X

So sorry to read this news. Stay strong and know we will be thinking of you all. He's still a young lad so you will give him the best chance of a comfortable life this way. I'm sure that Norris will be a good patient. Lots of love from Linda & Paul and sniffs and wags from Lola & Lena too xxxxx
