So glad Foxy is home and doing well. What a super brave boy he is. Dave has also had his op and has a 4 inch stapled wound but apparantly I can't keep him in a crate! Not sure he is feeling as bouncy as Foxy though. Hope to be back doing walks at Daybreaks as soon as possible. Hugs for the lovely Foxy. xx

Oh I love this boy. Would so like to bring him home, if only for a while, but need to see how Dave is after his back operation. However, I'm sure he will not be at Daybreaks much longer as I can't see how anyone could resist those big eyes!

Today is my gorgeous beautiful little girls 7th birthday. No pressies yet, although she has had a new collar courtesy of Meggie Moo which is just fab. As like last year she is another promise for a spending spree at the show on Sunday. So happy Birthday to Sarah Moo Cow. Lots of love xxxxxxxxxx

Uppy update! I collected Foxy on Monday evening following his back surgery and he went crazy when he came into the waiting room - something he is not allowed to do!!!! He has a stapled wound of around 4 inches long on his back and he has to have crate rest for 4 weeks. He is a rubber ball as he bounces back every time - I LOVE my little fella - can't wait for the day you can run around the park again - not long now - best get some more chicken and ham treats for him!

Eoin gets my virtual and real cuddles today. I am not one to favour the blues but this boy is so lovely - he needs some meat on his bones and fur on his backside and a smile on his face and we will be there!

    I’m Homed

I took Missy Moo to be speyed yesterday. All went well, however she chewed through her lead in the van - luckily not consuming any of it prior to her op. It made me laugh, walking her in with a short stump of a lead!!!! She is little Miss Tough and when I collected her yesterday afternoon I would have thought she hadn't even had an anaesthetic!

Caddy was crying as I was locking up last night - a soulful howl that I just couldn't ignore 🙁 I therefore unlocked and took him out for a play in the run - he had a fabulous time and then I changed the kennel he was in and he seemed to settle straight away. Bless him - he is very affectionate and of course very handsome!

I took this little lady to Fivelands to be speyed yesterday. She is a delicate little girl and she came home with me last night. She is bright this morning and I will take her back to the kennels as I am sure with her size and colouring it won't be long before someone falls in love with her!

Gorgeous Albert - he is doing so well now. Eating well, swelling has all gone and he is sooooo happy and bouncy when you get his lead out! I therefore left him at the kennels last night paired with Jessie..... it killed me to do it as he has been so good at ours but as we have Foxy on extreme rest, I need our house as settled as possible.

The lovely Jess was speyed at Fivelands on Wednesday. She was so bright and happy when I collected her so she went straight back to the kennels yesterday morning. I have paired her up with Albert who she seemed to adore!

Nelly is being a perfect house guest, toileting outside and slept all night. She is still a little nervous around traffic and meeting new people, but working with her to help her adjust to home life.
