Had a phone call yesterday morning to say my tough little cookie was walking around just fine and they were taking him off his injectable pain relief and all looking good for him to come home on Monday...... anybody fancy covering the kennels so I can go and get him early?????!!!!!! 😉

I had the pleasure of taking Finn to her fantastic new home in Lichfield yesterday. As you can see from the amazing photos she really is a lucky girl. She met the swans and after trying to 'walk' in the canal by testing with her front leg (don't worry - I had got her on a lead and she only popped her foot in!) she QUICKLY realised this was where the garden ended. She met the neighbour over the fence and loved exploring the house and garden whilst I was there. The family cat saw her and scarpered but I know she will be just great. She has very understanding, gentle, lovely owners - I came away very happy for her x

Albert update! I collected Albert from Willows yesterday morning where he had spent the night on a drip. As he was still bleeding heavily I took him back over to Fivelands where he was put back on the drip and Amelia operated again. When I collected him he looked SOOOO much better! He does have a very swollen face but that is understandable but his eye has reduced massively. He managed to eat a small amount of ham and has had a very settled night. He seems really bright this morning so he is really on the road to recovery - yay!

So sorry to hear about Ash Melysa & Sam. I did email you but thought I'd put a message on today as we have heard the sad news about Louis. Ash was a lovely boy when we met him at daybreaks and he was lucky to have you and Sam as you were to have him. Rest in peace Ash xx

So very sorry to hear the sad news about Louis today from our friends. We fostered him for a short time and he was the most friendly & loving dog you could ever meet. Our hearts go out to his owners who have given him a wonderful home for the last months of his life. Rest in peace lovely boy xx
