Well 'Dotty' Lottie had a fab time free running at the BBQ last Sunday, what a fantastic day, great company, great weather who could ask for more. I did hold my breath when Lottie did a fast figure of eight zoom round Vince nearly taking him and his camera out. Sorry Vince but I did say I thought she would go mad!!!!

I took Foxy to see a Professor in Neurology yesterday at Dovecoat Veterinary Hospital in Castle Donnington. Most of you will know that he has been having ongoing problems since last July with pain and chewing himself and despite skin scrapes, x-rays, MRI, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, canine massage and a multitude of medications with visits to Willows and West Midlands Referrals Centre in Lichfield these were to no avail. The repeat MRI revealed he does indeed have a problem with the sciatic nerve and discs in his lower back and he is undergoing back surgery to remove a piece of bone in a section of his spine on the 2nd October to hopefully resolve the problem. He is extremely miserable after yesterday added to the fact that he is still missing Maggie incredibly..... my heart is breaking for our little fella....

Lovely to meet you today little Goldie. You're really not very big and you were as good as gold on your walk with me. I really think you look younger than 5. Gorgeous little girl - I'm sure you'll be homed soon x J

Lovely to see you again today little one. Such a shame you weren't quite ready to settle in your home. You've obviously been missed as your family came to see how you were today. It was lovely to take you for a walk - all down the main road and not down the lane this time. That's such an improvement over the first time I walked you. You were a good little girl and no trouble at all. I hope all will work out for you soon little sweetie. Find your paws and you will be fine I'm sure xx J
