I'm so, so upset to have to say Libby and Adam have let us know that little Mo known as Penny has gone to Rainbow Bridge today. We fostered little Mo for a while before she found a home. She was a wonderful girl with a great personality. My thoughts are with Libby and Adam tonight. Run free over the bridge beautiful. Xx

12 months ago today we decided to take Peg on trial, we thought that the lovely Shaun might like a bit of company as he is very quiet. What a 12 months its been!! Peg suffered terribly from separation anxiety even though she had Shaun. As Shaun had settled from day 1 this was totally uknown territory for us. Even after one attempt to become an interior designer after taking a dislike to the curtains!! we decided she was the one for us. We tried everything you could think of and every gadget on the market but to no avail, With lots of love and patience and loads of advice from Kate, Ruth & Lynn Bibb she has finally blossomed in to a fun loving, cheeky girl. She loves to pinch things off the work top and plant them in Shaun's bed, she is a very loving girl. She has bought out Shaun's playful side to and they race about together. It's very true when they say it can take 6-12 months for a grey to settle Peg took about 8 months but it was definately worth the hard work & commitment. To see the girl she has become is amazing we can't imagine life without either of them now they bring such enjoyment to our life. It's such a shame that the black ones are so overlooked you dont know what you're missing. Shaun had been one of the longest stayers at Daybreaks and we went just to see him and fell in love with him straightaway, he is the best boy in the world and Peg is the naughtiest girl! Put my shoe down peg!! xxxx

Hi Chloe Its great to read that you would love to give a gorgeous grey a home Some can certainly live with small furries...its a case of choosing the right dog for you Maybe someone can help you by letting a dog out at lunchtime ? Best thing is to phone the kennels and speak to Kate or Ruth who will happily go through everything with you They will all be more than happy to help x x

We would love to give a grey a good home however two things are holding us back. Firstly I am out at work from 7.30 am to 5.45pm two days a week and my husband does shift work. How do other families cope? We dont have family close by who can help. Secondly we have two rabbits!. So any thoughts or ideas would really be appreciated? Thank you

What a fantastic dog Max is. Fab with all 4 of my children aged between 6 and 17. No problems with my 3 dogs one of which is a non grey. Clean in house. Quiet at night. Walks well on the lead. Very very happy boy who loves cuddles. X

My gorgeous precious girl has been losing weight... she has had blood tests and B12 injections and this has not helped so she is going to Fivelands for a scan on Wednesday. I am beside myself and keeping everything crossed that we can find out what is wrong with her.... and get her sorted.... she means the world to me.....
