My comment regarding Josh's trip to the Dogs Day out yesterday seems to have been misplaced... 🙂 Just to say he was a perfect companion, travelled great in the car and got on fine with Skip. Although a little excited when he first arrived he soon settled and enjoyed his day out from the kennels. He really is a super, friendly lad, great personality and very, very handsome...hope his forever home will be his soon. Xxx

We are beginning to think that Lottie and Ele are related! When Ele has a drink its like someone has turned the sprinklers on.Her nickname has always been little miss accident prone. We hope that Lottie is better soon, poor Paddy is the one on the sick list here at the moment.Maybe exchange medical hints and tips at the Stratford walk on Sunday xx

Well it's been an interesting day I managed to keep Lottie's bandage dry with the use of a plastic drip bag, we coped with the heavy rain this morning and again at lunch time, just getting my lunch when Lottie who it has to be said is the messiest drinker spilt loads of water and before I could stop her walk straight through it getting said bandages wet! So removed soggy bandage, redressed, applied muzzle and made evening appt at vets again!! Now no bandage, wound covered in silver spray and dressings at the ready just in case!! Arrghhh!!!!

Poor Lottie,we hope she is recovering. Ele has suffered a similar injury recently and now poor Paddy has cut his leg having slipped on wet caravan steps. Biggest problem now is stopping them licking the injury site! We tried the cone of shame but found a sock together with a plastic bag for walkies was much better. worse than kids!! xx

If anyone saw the Folded Books at the Dogs Day Out yesterday and would like one of their own. For a donation of between £10 & £15 all of which will go to the kennels I will fold to order, There are 3 choices- Small Paw, Large Paw & Greyhound. They all come with a card which has double sided tape on so you can add details of any hounds who have crossed the bridge and stick on the back cover or you can leave it off and just use as home decor. You can leave me a message on Breezes Page or E-mail me nmd0707@yahoo.co.uk , They make nice xmas pressies!. Thankyou .

Many thanks to Lorna who patched up Lottie after she damaged her dew claw pulling up on the fastest recall. We did end up at the vets and Lottie had her dew claw removed we tried to do it under local but to save both the vets and my ear drums decided it would be better to knock her out, she is now sporting a bright purple bandaged

  • Henry

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Harry happily accompanied me today to snitterfield, with Pam and Marti He travelled so well and after handing over the other two stayed with me and my other 3 dogs.. one of which is a non grey .. He was fantastic, so loving, playing, happy and also loved my 3 very noisy children ( which we use to child test the greys at the kennels) hubbie and me. He is so adorable. hubbie said if we had room for a 4th, out of all the greys that he has seen come through the doors, Henry would be the one he would keep. He even jumped into my own van with mine to go home and it broke my heart to get him out to take back to kennels.Lol. This not needs his forever home now.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Star was a lonely boy today as all his pals went to the Dogs Day out in the Country - however, he wasn't complaining as he is a lucky boy with a red sign outside his kennel and he will be off to his very own sofa soon. We had a lovely afternoon, he had a chicken sandwich treat (well, we bet all his pals were having treats at Snitterfield!), a play in the run and plenty of snoozes in the very strangely quiet kennels. Good luck to you in your new life matey, xxx

Reading about Henry just makes you want to give him a home and a sofa. The seizures may put people of. From the comments it should not and there is RGT support + Perry Bar support which in my experience is great. Henry I hope you will find your sofa soon.

Borna is such a loon! he shows how much of a big puppy he really is, especially when running in the run his legs seem to go everywhere and he seems to have no control over them 🙂
