Well Jed is keeping to his accident prone career, he managed to fall out of the car when we got home from Hatton, I think Lottie stepped on his lead as he was leaving the car! Lottie also seems to be learning from the master she managed to put her leg down the gap between the seats, so I have one dog limping on his left leg and another limping on her right. Hopefully they will be sound before their photo shoot on Sunday!! Never a dull moment!

Hi Max. Glad to see you are in a foster home and have some friends to play with. You are a loving hound and love nothing better than a comfy bed/sofa and lots of fuss. Guess I won't see you at the kennels on Wednesday but will be thinking about you. Love and hugs beautiful. Xx

Thanks Kate. Poor Twiggy. Pity we can't do a Fraulein Maria & sing a greyhound favourite things. Although with my voice the thunder would probably be less scarey. Looks like the weather is going to be cooler next week. See you soon xx

Just a quick update on this fantastic boy - he came home with us today, he didn't want to leave Ruth but gave him the choice between Ruth and a pigs ear, so he quickly jumped into the car lol ! He has met and was not phased by our three and likewise they were ok with him too. He had his walk, his tea and is now sparked out and settled. We are fostering this awesome boy for a few days but if anyone wants to meet him will be happy to bring him to kennels etc

I met Marti today and took him on his walk. He was quite a strong lad when I first got out of the kennel and had been leaping all over the place when I was trying to put his lead on. He was a little excited I think. Once walking, he was fine but did start pulling a little bit when we all went on a slightly extended walk to normal - again, excitement I think. He was certainly not uncontrollable, just choking himself a bit. He was also interested in the game at the rugby club - I think he might like to chase around after a ball. Lovely happy boy x J

This boy is definitely a cuddly boy. I was stroking him through his bars and his face was complete bliss. He decided this wasn't enough though, and then turned round leaning against the bars so I could slip my arm through and cuddle him. Someone's going to get a softy. Lovely boy x J

  • Charlie (aka Billy Bob)

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

I met Billy Bob for the first time properly today when I went to help walk the dogs. He was a lovely boy and not especially big either. He had a cuddle with me in his kennel before we went out while his kennel-mate Spritz was being leaded up. He was a good boy on his walk, possibly a little worried by big volumes of traffic but nothing major. Lovely boy x J

  • Henry

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Henry has moved foster homes and is back with me. He has walked back in our house like he has never been away. He is such a beautiful boy who would love a home of his own on his own. He does like his own company however he is currently curled up next to me on the sofa! He has had a great time playing in the run today and has just eaten a big bowl of dinner 🙂 Unfortunately it appears that H may have developed epilepsy..... he is on medication which if he finds a home, the Trust will support him for the rest of his life.
