Kin
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Kin has settled in well at home and is clean in the house. His sister Ellie is the bossy one and tells him off if she is not happy especially when he is playing with toys as she sees them all as her toys (poor kin). Have to work with him on socialising with other breeds as he is a big scaredy cat but this will come with time and patience. Our family are glad to have him especially me as he follows me like my shadow. Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments. Lesley xx

Milly

Returned from our 10 day holiday yesterday to find Milly having problems with her left back leg. The dog sitter said it had only started on Saturday evening and can't think of any time Milly could have hurt it. She is very reluctant to put her foot down, although after being up and around a bit she will put it on the floor but still not properly weight bearing. She isn't yelping and she let's me touch her foot and leg OK. Can't see any problem with her paws or toes. Have given her some metacam but if no better tomorrow looks like a trip to vets. Just wondered if anyone had had a similar problem with their hound. Xx

Well my vet assured me that the new flea treatment tablet Brefecto was highly palatable! Lottie who is quite happy to attempt eating three week old road kill decided she didn't like it, according to the leaflet you are not allowed to break the tablet, so battle commenced this morning. Eventually one soggy, salivating mess of a greyhound later said tablet was swallowed. I am thinking of volunteering Lottie to the drug company as chief taster!!!!
