Just for anyone who missed it. It was a greyhound that was limping badly on both her front legs...there wasn't any corns visible, so he put a blob of toothpaste on each pad, and gently brushed the pads with a wet toothbrush. When he wiped the toothpaste off, the corns were clearly visible. So very simple...and very clever !!!

Haven't posted anything in a while so I thought Id just do a quick one , Carla and Carrie are looking great , I've just brushed them both outside and Carla aka Mummy just wanted to lay on the concrete in the sun , so I think Im going to have to buy her an outside quilt/bed as she loves her independent "me" time and I don't like her lying on concrete . My house is littered with toys and bones , But you know the best thing is how the girls have turned my house into a real home ,they are both so untidy but I actually love it

Ahhh Buddy! So glad you went home with Ruth on Wednesday as you were sad in the morning. DidN't want to do your walk, didn't want to go back in your kennel. It upset me to see your sad little face. Now it sounds like you an Coilean are having a great time! Enjoy your break sweetheart. Fingers crossed your forever sofa is very close.xx

Buddy came home with me on Wednesday as he seemed so down. He was not wanting to go on his walks, didn't like going back to his kennel and has remained a skinny bean. That has all changed!!!!!!!!! He is scoffing every ounce of food pointed in his direction, loving his walks around the park and has been left at my house for 4 hours then a break then another 4 hours with no problem at all. We have a very active 3 year old greyhound by the name of Crazy Coilean, who is now his partner in crime! Rather than keeping him muzzled all the time, whilst we are out or at night he is in his giant crate. He is great on the lead, clean in the house and sooooo beautiful. If anyone fancies taking this lad out to any of the training classes or out for the day, please let me know! Even more great would be the offer of a permanent home for this fabulous boy.......

Fostering update......Risky (or Riksy as we are currently calling him so people don't worry about his name) is really showing his lovely character now he's been with us for a couple of weeks. He loves playing with toys, is very inquisitive, likes collecting various things together but is learning the meaning of the word "leave" quite well! He is a very bright boy and is getting better all the time when he meets other dogs on his walks. We would really love someone to give him his forever sofa so that we can then foster other dogs and give them a taste of home life too.
