We were at the kennels this morning when Lisa came in. She seems a really bubbly, friendly girl with loads of life and I imagine she misses nothing. Absolute beauty - nice to see you sweetie as I'm guessing you won't be there long! I'll cuddle her while I still can.

I got to meet Amy properly today and took her for a walk with some of the others. She was obviously happy to be out in the wider world and she does seem to have a bit of an interest in watching the rugby being played too (not for the first time apparently). She leapt a couple of times when we first got out but then she settled down and walked along with no problems. A lovely girl

We were looking out for Risky this morning to go and say hello but I had a feeling he may have gone for a day out. I hope he wowed everyone in Sutton as he is a lovely boy. One thing has come to me and that is given his broken hock injury that's left him with his limp which can't really be disguised, I'm just wondering if Risky is really a great name.... I know it's from his racing name, but I'm just wondering if hearing his name and seeing his special walk maybe doesn't help??? I may be far wide of the mark and feel free to ignore me but maybe try 'Ricky'??'. Apologies if it sounds stupid, but I just wonder if it might help as he is a lovely boy and I've seen him on a couple of walks getting a lot further than our Ben did when we first had him from Hall Green 5 years ago. I'm sure all will work out for Risky one way or another, whatever he's called. His family just haven't found him yet.

Stevie has had a fab day, along with Sarah and Willow at the Sutton walk. Lots of treats and new toys, but all were too tired to play, until now after 9.00 o'clock. Would want to play now I'm shattered. About right. Xx

Snowy is such an affectionate little sweetie. I think she would like to learn ballroom too judging by how many times she jumped up me in her kennel for fuss and cuddles and then walked in that pose on her back legs. She seems very sweet natured and full of fun. Good luck cheeky x J

Hi Alan & Pam. l must admit that l haven't looked at Paddy & Ele's blog yet. l am saving them for a downer day, when l need cheering up, but as greyhounds are the comedians of the dog world, l know they are going to be funny !!! Ours make us laugh every day, especially Louis, who has so many facial expressions and funny little ways. ls it little wonder that we love this breed so much. 🙂
