Fantastic news !!! So happy for you all...and such a relief. l hope he is going to feel a lot more comfortable now. What a fighter he is... he really deserves to be able to enjoy his twilight years. XXXX.

It is with tears in my eyes that I right this, we went to collect Ash today from the vets but were told we couldn't, as 40 mins prior he suffered major bleeding from his rectum & the vet had to fit him with drip & put him on morphine. We were taken in to see him & told he has a 50/50 chance of surviving the night. We will know tomorrow morning. Fight little soldier x

"Happy Boy" William has today enjoyed his first visit to Brueton Park in Solihull. During the entire walk his tail did not stop wagging. He was full of curiousity with everything he saw but behaved in a sensible way throughout. He walks well on the lead and on meeting larger other breeds face to face there were no problems at all. He has yet to meet smaller 'furries' at close quarters but did not display any aggression when walking past them. Any family looking for a greyhound bursting with happiness and enthusiasm for life will find William the perfect companion.

Poppy (Solo)

Solo has settled in brilliantly with the others, eaten up, well behaved, kisses you at every opportunity, loves the toys in the house to play with and has taken over carrying Joe Joe's cushions. First full day with us all and it is like she has been here forever. Picked another good one and the journey was worth it. Yes I am slightly mad to go to such extremes but they are worth it, so very, very worth it. Greyhounds addictive, whatever gave you that idea? x

Ash is awake!!!!! He got through the op & we are picking him up at 6 30pm today. The next few days are crucial though as he's hardly been eating anything & had lost some of the weight he had put on. So fingers crossed. OMG! Was worried there! Thank you all so much for all your kind words & good wishes x
