Flash
I’m Homed
Flash has been with us for a week now but we formally adopted him today. He has settled in amazingly well and gets on beautifully with our other dog Holly. He is such a gentle giant around the house but is learning how to play with Holly in the garden. They have a little race around & then it's time for a sleep again!

Brae
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Can't believe it's only been 24 hours since we brought Brae back to our home for some much needed TLC. Her and Rosie have bonded so well and our beautiful little guest has settled in quickly. As I type this, they're both fast asleep after devouring a tasty lunch of dried food, pasta & mince... we didn't need to wash either of their bowls! Brae's hock injury slows her down slightly whilst walking however, she does her best to keep pace with Rosie, who in turn has slowed her normal speed to walk alongside her new buddy. Our 1st night as a foursome was 'interesting', with Brae selecting Rosie's bed, John settling on the sofa in the lounge with Rosie, and me in a comfy bed; this didn't last long though, as the girls wanted to be together so we all ended up in the bedroom and reckon that Brae slept the best of all. We had a couple of little accidents first thing but that was due to me faffing about and not opening the back door quick enough, but apart from that she's taking herself outside to toilet. Despite freezing conditions, I didn't mind one bit when stood on the patio at 6am this morning, sipping a hot cuppa and watching these two beauties play 'follow the leader' as they sniffed every inch of the garden! It really is such a pleasure to have Brae staying with us. Tash, John & Rosie xxx
