I took Buster to Fivelands yesterday with Sue his owner as he has been limping. Sadly the news showed he has bone cancer and problems with his spine. Just devastating...... 🙁

I took Charlie up to the kennels today and then I had a phone call from Robbie at lunchtime.... He had a 'you may as well let her stop another night at ours as she is no trouble' conversation....... so guess what - back at ours......! I have been asked to look out for an extra special girl for a close friend of ours who lost his beloved grey earlier in the year but he is away in Australia at the moment.... what should I do?!!!!!!

The adorable Grace has stopped the night at our house following her spey. She has had a very quiet, settled night and has found her beans again!!!! She was obviously very pleased with herself that she had been clean all night so has just done a happy dance for toileting outside!!! Might have some colourful bruises down my legs later in the week to prove it! She is a young beautiful livewire who spends most of her time on two legs instead of 4!!!!! 😉

Need to order another bed to be delivered to the kennels for when I collect so she is comfy on her journey home. Got water and food bowl, muzzle and lead but will need a coat.

Well as we approach Jed's gotcha day this Sunday his rarely seen naughty side seems to be appearing! The count today is my lovely new wooly bobble hat is now minus it's bobble and a whole pack of foil food containers bitten and squashed!! Perhaps I should threaten to return him!! Only joking!

How wonderful to be reminded of Bobby Pumpkin. The love shines out from your words and clearly he knew more love in the last few weeks of his life than many do in a lifetime. I am sure he can hear you saying them and is just waiting patiently by the bridge. They are always with us, wherever we go, just a heartbeat away. Xx

One year ago today, Bobby left us to make his journey to Rainbow Bridge. We think about him every day...and we miss him so much. He was a very special boy to us. A few days after he left us...l wrote down a few simple verses and put them in a draw. l haven't read them since ...until today. l hope that you will not mind if l share them with you all. Now you have your Angel wings l always knew you would one day Though l hoped it would be longer l prayed that you could stay Now you have your Angel wings l hear them flutter just like a sigh How my heart is now so broken For l never got to say goodbye Now you have your Angel wings So soft and smooth and pristine white l felt them gently brush my skin When you stood beside my bed last night Now you have your Angel wings l know that you are always near You were here again tonight lt was you who wiped away my tear Bobby 12.11.2002 - 19.12.2013 Always with us and in our Hearts.
