Biscuit came with us to the Stratford walk on Sunday and took everything in his stride. He lay straight down in the car and we didn't hear a peep from him either way - I had to keep checking to see if he was still there! A calm, easy-going boy who even eats his food gently and is great on the lead. On our return to the kennels he showed a playful side when we tried to put on his indoor fleece - he wanted to play tug-of-war with it; adorable. Thank you for your company Biscuit. Bet you won't be at Daybreaks for long. xxx

Beautiful Rocky accompanied us on the Stratford walk on Sunday and truly tugged at my heart strings. As has previously been said he struggles to show his best side in kennels, but once out and about proved what a wonderful boy he is - very loving, calm and responsive. He travelled well in the car and was perfect on the lead. During the walk we had to go through a couple of narrow gates. He and I were near the back of the queue and he stood patiently to one side and watched the others go through before he gently took his turn. He is a real 'leaner', and so very loving - when I left him with Brian for a short while, on my return I was greeted with a wagging tail; a real honour. To anyone looking for a loving companion please, please don't overlook this lovely boy; I believe that in a home environment he will truly shine. Thank you Rocky, you were the highlight of my Sunday and a pleasure to be with. My cuddle for you tonight and, hopefully, a real one tomorrow. xxx

I was really looking forward to looking after you today, I think I would have done a good job as a doggie nurse, never mind Ruth says I may have another chance of looking after a hound on the 29th xxxx

Daisydog is patiently waiting for Santa. Hohoho! We send lots of salty hugs to all our old friends at Daybreaks and training and wish four legs and two legs alike a very merry Christmas and peaceful new year. Daisydog adds 'it's been a year of sand between my paws and sunshine on my fur. Mum bought me a new rufftuff harness so I could go topless in the new car. I'm loving the wind ticklin' my ears! ' My girl rocks. Love you daisydog xxx

Lovely photo of your two boys. Best wishes for 2015 and fingers crossed for a good result for Ash in the New Year. You and Sam are doing a fantastic job with him. Apologies to Charlie Mouse for not recognizing him immediately hope he has forgiven the insult!

At the risk of sounding all soppy, John and I just want to wish every human & All our beautiful 4 legged lovelies who have arrived, been looked after, chosen new families and those still waiting for their forever sofa/family "VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS". If it wasn't for Daybreaks, we'd never have met and been adopted by our gorgeous Rosie Po, who has (ever so slightly) changed our lives! New carpet to stop her slipping, new gates on the drive, new car for ease of access (her not us!), higher garden fences, fewer pounds showing on the scales (us not her!), increased fitness levels (all of us), new friends (2 & 4 legged). She's given us more grey hairs since March with regular vet visits, but the love and giggles we've had with her are priceless. Thank You Daybreaks for making 2014 our first family of 3 Christmas. Tash & John xx
