Melysa, your post has brought tears to my eyes. The poor, poor boy - but how brilliant that he now has you & Sam to be there for him 24/7 and help him through each day. It sounds like the gorgeous Charlie Mouse has recognised that Ash needs some special care and is doing his bit too - well done mate. Sending you all very special hugs and thanks for all you are doing for this fella - love to all. xxxxxx

Hi Ruth, all sorted and true to form, he was star of the show, Don adored him, said he was in wonderful condition and fitness. He was weighed at 36kg, so a very healthy lean weight and he will have his booster and Advocate in 2 wks time. So overall, a huge successful first new vet visit to Swinfen vet clinic and he loved the ride in the car. He even fell asleep on the way back lol... big thanks again for the support on the phone. Love from us all here ^. .^ and a big woof from Milo xxx

Well, one month and Rhia has definitely settled into home life! She is currently fast asleep with all four legs waving in the air. She understands all about walks, treats, playing the garden and eating cheese (her favourite). She has a slightly nutty element to her personality just like her sister Smartie and competes with her for he waggiest tale. Now that her cheeky personality is coming out, she is taking a far greater interest in the cat than she once did. Generally at mealtimes when he is amongst them waiting to be fed and then she finds it all a bit too exciting so a bit of work to be done there ;o) but otherwise I think it's safe to say she is enjoying her retirement!
