Ash visited the kennels yesterday with his new best friend Charlie Mouse. Those of you who have met Charlie know he is a very bouncy boy but he is so gentle and affectionate around Ash; was lovely to see Ash resting his head on Charlie's neck. Lots of love to you all. Xxx

Congratulations to the Bartleygreen,crew for becoming the latest members to the Failed Foster Parents club! The news that you wanted to keep lovely Isla really brightened up what was a very cold, wet and windy day at the kennels, thank you so much! Hi everyone....just a quick update on our lovely boy. My goodness he's such a huge part of our family in less than a month. We've all fallen for him in so many ways. He is every ones friend, I found him last night fast asleep on Harv. I can't believe how lucky we are, he never stops making us laugh, he's really quite naughty but with that face it's really hard to tell him off. He gives us unconditional love and we just love him for the funny slightly baldy hound he is, our home is his home and that's all that matters xxxx

Milo

Hi all, wooh how this week has flown by. Milo is still as faithful, loving and just uber gorgeous, that the time has just flown by. He's been a bit 'ears up and looking around for reassurance' look on his face with the fireworks this week. So, we planned our meals and walks esp this week, so that our eve walk was a little later when all were asleep and outside was a lot calmer and quieter. He's gets goofier and cuter every day, we just love him so much. So much so, we urge every family to spare a little room for a doggy bed and half an hr of their day to re-home or foster a greyhound. Our neighbours love him and can't believe how calm and respectful Milo is when they see him and want to give him a big fuss. If anyone had said to us we would have a greyhound, I would have said no, but here we are as a family, we have opened our minds and hearts to greys and we love him so much. Going to say bye for now as I'm filling up, but from the bottom of our hearts, thank you Daybreaks and RGT for letting Milo into our lives and family, we unconditionally love him so much, Hayley and family XXX ^. .^

Ash, I am so happy you had a lovely time at training today. Melysa, Sam & Charlie Mouse - thank you so much for giving this boy a quiet place to be, with someone on constant call to look out for him. I really hope & pray he can regain some strength. Hugs to you all, xxxxxxx

Ash

Ash came to training with his foster mum and dad and of course the handsome Charlie Mouse. Ash is weak and his legs tend to wobble a bit but there is life in the old dog and his legs were all of a tremble today for a very different reason! He took quite an interested in Milly -my small lurcher his tail did an impression of a helicopter when he saw her and he struggled accross the room to visit her! He loved his cuddles with Melysa this morning did a tiny recall and really enjoyed what was going on.He seems to want to be a part of what is going on and I hope the vet can help him as he is such a character if somewhat amorous. Many thanks to Melysa,Sam and Charlie -Mouse for fostering this boy.XXX
