Emmy
I’m Homed
If you have a spare sofa then look no further for a really nice girl to occupy it! If that got your attention then read on. Emmy is a real joy, forget her age she loves her food [ found the treat cupboard], walks well on the lead and has a curiosity for the world around her. Though I have only fostered her for a couple of days, she seems to be unfazed by the local cat population and other dog breeds. What more could anyone ask? Have I convinced you yet? Go on you know you want to adopt this beautiful girl, she has everything you could hope for and more!!!

I know what you mean, Ruth he just looks so forlorn... I have a soft spot for undershot jaw, pointy nose faces (he reminds me of my beautiful Droopys Grace, although she was fawn). We have four at home and one recent retiree waiting to come home otherwise I'd snap him up in a heartbeat!Surely this boy deserves some luck and a loving family to call his own... Looking forward to your friend Maggie's updates in the meantime though and not hoping at all that she becomes a member of the ever growing FFP Club 😉 Love you Woody Xx

Isla
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I took Isla to her foster home yesterday and I am so pleased she is doing so well - she was not fazed at all by the cats 🙂 I have hated splitting the 5 'escaped' family but there was just no way they could have all gone together. 🙁

I have to confess, I asked my friend Maggie if she would foster this amazing, beautiful boy...... so he is going later today to Bromsgrove. I don't know what it is about him but he breaks my heart...... he really needs some weight on and a home to call his own but a foster home is all I can get him for now..... Please please someone - give this wonderful boy a forever home.....

Louis
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Poor poor Louis - he was castrated yesterday and had 6 teeth out, however the majority of his remaining teeth are not good and he will need to go back in a couple of weeks for another dental. He is very unsettled but this is so understandable - it is not the best day in a lad's life when he is castrated and teeth removed! I had tried to settle him but I think he will just feel much better soon 🙁 He is off to his foster home later - he is a beautiful boy who has lost everything - let's hope he can find a forever home very soon.......

Ash
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Melysa, so sorry - I did email you but I got back from the vets for the third time late this evening and it took me a while to sort 'the kids'..... the news on Ash is that I took him to see Christian who was quite concerned about his lack of weight. Although we had had the history come through from the previous vets for Emmy, Kylie, Isla and Louis, unfortunately there were problems getting the history for Ash. After a long wait, it came through and there was nothing of note!!!!!!!! Christian has therefore taken bloods and wants to see him again on Friday and we should have the results then and hopefully we will know a bit more. On arrival Ash weighed 25.2kg but he is now 25.7kg - after a couple of days of not eating much, he is now enjoying sausage rolls, chicken, ham, creamy cheesy mash and everything else we can tempt him with! I am so grateful for your offer of foster - I will give you a call later xxxxx

Carrie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well heres strange one , Yesterday my neighbour left me a note to say " are the girls not frightened of fireworks " ? It turns out that she came in about 6pm yesterday to give the girls a peanut butter sandwich and open the back door for them for an hour or so , about 45 minutes later , someone was having a fireworks show , so my neighbour came to make sure they dogs were Ok and lock the back door and both Carrie and Carla ,were calmly wandering around in the Garden and just ran in wagging their tails , obviously not frightened then , although in the past few weeks , I've just been waiting until they are settled and sat calmly watching fireworks shows on youtube with the volume up , seems it might have worked !!

Hi Jill Sorry, nobody told us about you fostering him, we have been talking to Kate & had messages left with Ruth, but she hasn't got back to us. We just thought she was deciding what to do after the vet visit today & I was told to wait for a phonecall from her. As long as he's in the best place for him, that's all that counts though! Melysa x

Hi Skinny Me. I thought Ash was staying with/being fostered by Ruth until they knew what was up with him at the vets, then if that goes ok he would be looking for a perm foster home? Melysa
