Zizzy now named ziggy has settled in very well and found his comfy spot in the middle of the frontroom, he's been such a good boy and couldn't wish fir a better forever friend xx

Omg. What fantastic news. I have spent all day at work trying to find the words to convince all at home how we could foster. I am so happy that this is going to hopefully work out for you sweetie. Following on from my comment on Carlas page ... Carrie eats and wee's and poo's and sleep's , when you get to that stage with a greyhound , I guess thats about where you want to be ........ she still does all the other stuff that she did before and she's well interested in the equipment left by the electrician today downstairs , but she is "just Carrie" and she will always be "just Carrie" she's never gona change and I aint gona change her ... I wished for a unique dog and I nearly got my wish ..... I got a unique Greyhound !

Well , the start of getting the heating in this week has been a nightmare from start to ...still not finished . the Girls have coped tremendously well and had to be shut in my bedroom most of the week as internal work has been in all of the house ,although I have been here so they've not been alone , its been a very stressful week for all of us , they are actually much Calmer being left in one room , no wees or anything in an 8 hour day so without the noise and distractions from the major work outside and inside ( and trust me its been a massively colossal , A44 traffic stopping and very messy job to get gas to my house) , I am hopeful by mid next year that they will have there own nice space ..... and all because I want the time to walk them rather than messing about with coal , I actually can't believe I've done it for two dogs , It was always going to happen as I got older , maybe in another 15 years , but to suddenly make that decision , that I would rather have the time to walk my Girls than mess about with other stuff like humping coal means every single walk will be even more special. Carla has been amazing at skipping though , I can really see what the comment earlier in her posts was about , I only have to say to her ... " You are such a pretty girl " and she dances and skips , she's amazing 🙂 As for Carrie , Ill post that on Carries page ....

Gosh this is fabulous news Ruth, I was praying he was at home with you, this was so sad, it's made us throughly miserable tonight , how must his owners be feeling, so your post is wonderful, I have given my two cuddles all night, I remember how blade looked when he returned to the kennels after years with his owner , under very very sad circumstances! It's all just so heartbreaking, thank goodness for Daybreaks you do a truly amazing job x

Whooooooah!!!! I have been inundated with offers of a home for this gorgeous boy via telephone, emails and texts! He is currently curled up on a big bed at our house and, all being well, he is off to live in Somerset tomorrow! 🙂
