Hi, Just a quick msg to say how well Trevor is doing! We feel so privileged to own such a great Greyhound. Do any of you guys use retractable leads? Are they any good or are they dangerous? I don't want to let him loose as I want him to be safe, But I do want to train him recall and give him a little more freedom. Do you guys think these leads are ok? Help Appreciated Graeme

I took Domino home with me last night as she had been a bit stressed since arriving at Daybreaks on Tuesday. She couldn't settle to start with but soon did, laying with Foxy and Basil by her side 🙂 She seemed to prefer the boys but was a little growly with my girls 🙁 She slept soundly all night and I took her back to the kennels this morning. She is beautiful and once she has got used to her new routine I am sure she will be happier.

From Prince - I have had a great week. I went on the walk in Kingsbury Water Park and everyone knew I was there because I was so excited and was getting bored just waiting so I barked to let them know I was raring to go and we got a sausage at the end. I stood with my nose on the raffle table to make sure I didn't miss anything and I got lots of fuss from everyone. I have been off my lead four times now and I always run to my mom cos she has got some nice treats in her bag for me. I have heard them saying I am going training on Monday, hope I will get more snax for being a good boy there too. I will let you know what I think about it next week x

Thought you were trying to tell me something Lady Victoria,at first I thought just my luck to have the first Greyhound to have a sex change so I thought I might have to rename her Butch,and hide all her Girlie toys,and pink coat.But after checking the garden I cant see theres any new bones buried so I think were in the clear!

Happy Birthday my gorgeous boy! We have been on holiday camping round the west coast of scotland. We visited lots of different sites, pubs and places and Jack was perfect the whole time. I think he is glad to be back in his own bed and home now though! I can't believe he has been with us 9 months already. He makes us laugh every day and is never a trouble (except when we let him off the lead on the beach for the 1st time and he legged it!!). So pleased to have him in our family, he completes us 🙂 xx
