Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well it's 2 weeks today since we came to the kennels and met Tess. It seems like we have had her longer than that. Tess is still a little timid about some things like being in the garden when she can hear the neighbours but she is making progress and goes out by herself most days. She has met our daughters dog (a Saluki) and today has shown an inclination to play ball with her. Tess has become a loved member of our family and she seems very taken with our daughter and her 2 boys, they get very waggy tail moments when they call to visit her. Every little progress is great, she is eating and sleeping well and we just love her.

Varus (Andy)

Well, what a good first week. Andy has a lovely temperament. He has been into everything but will respond when you tell him no. After the first few days he has been clean in the house with just a few accidents as he finds his feet. On walks he doesn't pull and is sniffing about the golf course like he has been here for months. He has met other dogs without problems - including a very small, fussy pug. Him and Bunny are not bosom pals yet with a couple of growls (more moans really) from Andy when she approaches "his" favourite part of the sofa and when we give her a fuss. He didn't respond to Andy or Charlie so James has renamed him 'Varus" (all of you up to date with computer games will recognise it!) Currently after a good walk this morning he and Bunny are crashed out on the sofa.
