Oh Jeff....you are a diamond !!!! l enjoy reading your posts....they are just so off the wall....and straight from the heart !!! So pleased to hear your girls are doing well and Carrie has gained weight. Keep up the good work...they both obviously mean the world to you.

Well just got back from a walk with the family not to fare, ive been up the stairs on my own but needed help to get down, had a really good nights sleep with hattie my foster mom lol, think I need a good sleep now update you all tomorrow if I wakeup and do anythink hahah.

what actually happens when you see a Grey in foster care you like? I have been on this page everyday since April. I cant rehome till August, loved Silky she is in foster care and now Liam too. still very happy for them xxx

Today at 5.40 pm I had to say good bye to my beautiful darling boy Merlin, not because he was ill but because of an accident way back in March. Merlin managed to squeeze out of the gate and ran into the local park and killed a small dog. The owners decided to procecute and took me to criminal court, despite having statements from Daybreaks Kennels, the RGT head office, the Petbloodbank Vet, Merlin's previous owners and many more the judges condemed Merlin to death, I was to take him into a police station tomorrow and he was going to be put into some holding kennels somewhere unknown until they would have put him to his death some time in the future without me being able to be with him. I could not live with this uncertainty and the knowledge that my beloved boy is somewhere cold and strange without me so I went ahead and let him fall asleep in my arms with my voice to soothe him. I won't have to tell any of you how devasted I am...I fail to understand how any dog owner can do this to another. I have now got a criminal record, have to pay a huge sum im court fines, penalties, and compensation for the other owners. Had they taken me to civil court the insurance would have kicked in but it does not apply in criminal cases....sometimes justice is not what it should be and in this case it was a travesty....Run free my darling darling boy, I shall forever blame myself for a few seconds of inattention which ultimately caused your death...I love you Merlin....

Oh , amazing , please keep him and give him a happy life , Ill even pay the donation if you want , been watching this lad every day since I met him but didn't want to post too much in case anyone thought I was a bit simple watching him , but he was just a bit big for my house and a bit too lively for Carrie

Oh sorry Jema...isn't that always the way...we will keep you updated on how he gets on...he's been a perfect gentleman so far (5 hours in) and am hoping he sleeps well tonight. I'll pop some photos on Facebook too.Xx .

I'm delighted to report that Charlie is now fully on his raw food diet. We've had no problems with his tum and the food is agreeing with him. It's all a matter of finding the right portion size now, at the moment he's eating like, well like a greyhound really! He is saving up his tins of fish, which I'll pop up to the kennels, however you are to physically stop me looking at any of the dogs! We loves are little Charliefarley although lately he's become Sir Charles!

Liam I am sooo happy to see you have gone to live in a foster home for a while, (thank you Carrie for taking this lovely boy for a holiday.) I know it will all be a bit strange to start with but you have got Lou Lou to show you the ropes, make sure you are a gentleman with her and be a good boy. Happy 7th Birthday to our happy, bouncy girl today. A new squeaky toy and lots of cuddles await. Still showing no signs of leaving her puppy years. Wherever she gets her energy from, bottle it and I could retire!!!! Love you Little Miss E. Mama xx
