Just put Arthur's jim jams on and he is settled in a bed with a blanket too in the night time dog's room with everyone. Good as gold went out for a wee and has settled down. I think it is fair to say he has had a good birthday and has eaten very well so nothing wrong with his appetite following his big journey. I think it helped coming over with Bertie and Blade and thank you to Michelle and Roy for bringing him over. they are welcome to stay with us anytime and Bertie, do you want to come for long holidays with us, you are a lovely boy but then so is Blade! More photos to follow tomorrow.

Oh dear...poor Minty. Really hope all goes well on Wednesday. They are such a worry and it doesn't get any easier with time what with the extra worry about the anaesthetic. I'm sure she will be well looked after though. Our Lola fared well after her anaesthetic recently and she's just 2 days younger than your girl (happy birthday to Minty for yesterday) so fingers and paws crossed that you all have a similar experience on Wednesday xx

So sorry to hear this. My Norman had only part of his tail amputated after sn accident. Well the end was damged and he had just over 6 inches removed as he hed kink in his tail and they thought it was broken so took tbat much off. I had a s scare with Stevie at the weekend with his tail right near the top. He must knocked it on the wall. Without going into great detail it was like the Texas chainsaw massacre. Managed to dress and stop the bleeding. All looks good now. Good luck to Minty. Xxx

Walked this lovely fella today and was a gent on the lead. He just needs a chance and some patience from humans and he would be a great addition to any family. He might come over a bit grumpy at times but in my experience thats most men for you!!!!!! He has a tough exterior but is a big softie underneath. Good luck to you my gentle gent,

I visited the kennels today and fell in love with this little beauty. Thinking of exchanging my husband for Zeta, she would be a lot less hassle.........!!!!! She is very loving and was great with my 9yr old. Come on people she deserves her own sofa and you certainly wont be disappointed, she is an absolute beaut.

Teddy (Remi)

Hi Melysa, Teddy (or Remi as he was previously known) was not homed through Perry Barr RGT. Sadly the home he found did not work out and I know Remi's photos and postings have been on Facebook. Luckily for Teddy, he has found a home with a family who have adopted from Daybreaks and he is off to be neutered on Friday. Hope that explains it! 🙂

Arthur (Ice)

Arthur is enjoying his birthday by trying out every seat in the house. Has had mince and rice for breakfast, then a whole pouch of Burns Chicken Rice and Veg and best part of a whole chicken (minus bones). He loves the Chaise as he can watch Richard through the window (think he is going to be a Daddy's Boy). He has slept a lot but he has had a big journey and experience. What have we learnt so far - he seems to 'hear' a knock on the window or the front door opening, he can pee up his front leg very well and he loves cuddles and giving kisses. Just need to get his fluffs to grow back on his bum now.
