Sign language, Hello Arthur, ordered your new bed today, it should arrive in plenty of time for your arrival here so won't let the others on it! Off to get your passport tomorrow I believe and we are getting so many good reports on you we cannot wait to welcome you to La Provotais Retired Greyhounds and all the space and all our friends for you to meet. Big hugs my new gentle friend.

Isla
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Isla kindly accompanied Paul & I to Pets At Home in Sheldon this morning, chaperoned also by the handsome Max. She was a little darling and seemed to like looking at the world by peeking out from underneath Max! She didn't react to the various dogs who were out shopping today, including the lovely whippet puppy they both met. She also had a lovely cuddle from a little girl who took a real shine to her and didn't really want to leave the shop with her mum! I really can't understand why she is still looking for her forever home after what we saw this morning. She's affectionate and sociable so there must be a home for her out there.....come on folks.... someone must have space in their life for this real black beauty. Love you Isla xxx

Max
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Paul & I took Max to Pets At Home at Sheldon this morning with Isla. He is a really lovely, friendly lad and was so very well behaved. There were a few dogs in the shop this morning and while he was interested to look at them, he was a real gent. He met an 8-month old whippet puppy at very close quarters and after saying a quick hello, he just stood quietly. He has a lovely waggy tail and loves fuss too. Wagga Max is a very appropriate name for this boy! He travelled quietly in the car on the way there and back too. We think he is going to make a stunning pet for some lucky person. xx

Tessa (Teazer)

Just to let everyone know that Teazer or Tessa as we call her - new name new start, is doing very well. She has had a holiday in the Lake District with hubby and Alfie and thoroughly enjoyed herself and now she is home with Alfie, Penny and Bella. Our challenge is to teach her to accept our 2 cats, because although she tested cat friendly for Ruth, she is a little keen. We love her dearly and feel very lucky to have her.

Poppy

Forgot to take my camera on this mornings walk...DOH! Both dogs had a quiet night, Poppy is definitely in charge out of the two of them, she needs a bit of work so she's more approachable by other dogs including Greyhounds, she's growling and bearing teeth at the moment. However it's very early days and she's had a huge change in 24 hours. She is settled in the house and like most Greyhounds her favourite position is the horizontal one. Liz tells me she was 'roaching' last night. There were no overnight accidents and she went out at 6:30am for a wee, and was then back to bed.

cadbury looks quite sore, and isnot happy with his cone of shame on 🙁 but as soon as you got to get him into the run he gets so happy, and excited! Even if he bumps into things sometimes xx

Mac is such a happy lad, when you put him in the run or go to get him out if his kennel he does a mad happy dance where he spins around and jumps around!! xx
