Poor Jed managed to partially tear off one of his claws on his back foot this afternoon, the vet had to remove the rest, going for the sympathy vote big time at the moment but what a brave boy let the vet take off the remainder without so much as a whimper!

Hi Champ, it was fantastic to see you again this morning at training. You are a beautiful little fella and so calm, just taking it all in your stride. Champ, Nina, Charlie & Rosie had a 'Daybreaks reunion' outside after the training and the 'newbie Mom & Dad's' had a good old chin wag as well. It made a lovely picture. Look forward to seeing you next Saturday Champ & Mary. Tash, John & big licks from Rosie xxx

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

2nd day of training this morning for little Rosie and she walked into the hall without a care in the world, just took it all in her stride saying "hello" to her buddies Champ, Nina & Charlie. She was much calmer than during last week's lesson but got rather excited (as did some other dogs) when the stuffed cat was brought out! Our little Rosie Posy - or should that be Nosey Rosie Posy - has changed our lives so much in just the two weeks we've had the pleasure of her living with us. We still need to work on her sleeping habits though, as we're not sure how long we can last on 2-3 hour sleep sessions (in between her nuzzling her nose next to ours) each night. Yes, yes, I'm a proud 'Mom' so I would say this, but she really is the most adorable little lady to have around, so big Thanks to her for choosing me & John when we were at Daybreaks all those weeks ago! Tash x

What a fab little girl. Did not hear a peep from her all night and was greated this morning by a very happy waggy tailed girl... She loves her food and ate all her breakfast (even though she only has 2 teeth, she managed to eat her food quicker than my other two. lol). She walked right by my side on her morning walk, did not pull once as was not bothered at all by any of the other dogs at the park. She has again been bouncing round and playing in the garden this morning with the other two, shes a real laugh and a real fusspot, shame I dont have 3 hands to fuss all 3 at same time.... you really are a pocket gem. x

Hi Tinker's nan - you are right in your advice that a coat will usually solve the problem. Over the few weeks Snip has been on trial she stopped weeing but was just having a poo at night. This was not happening during the day. My advice would be to anyone looking at taking her would be definitely coat at night, keep feeding the Burns and don't give tinned meat for an evening meal. She was always clean in her kennel at Daybreaks overnight and was clean at mine when she stopped so I am sure this could be easily solved. She is the sweetest girl and I am sure someone will fall in love with her very soon. x

Princess greyhound in my pocket. Aka Callie arrived for a weekend holiday at our mad house at 4pm today and by 445pm had a viewing and they came to see her straight away ... what a lovely couple especially with my 2 dogs and 4 kids pinging round .. ended up with 4 dogs, 5 kids, 5 adults all in house at same time... was a madhouse they must of thought they were in..... fingers crossed Callie you could possibly be going to your forever home on Sunday. As you can all see she is WELL chilled... has ate a huge bowl of dinner right next to my dogs with not even a glance. Played in the garden with our 2 dogs... running around like a loon... sat quietly next to me on floor whilst I ate a chinese and DID NOT scrounge once. This dog is a real 1 in a million. X
