Thank you for all your kind messages for Shrew. My heart is breaking - we have made the painful decision to let her to go to the Bridge later today. We adopted her in March 2003 and we have had 11 wonderful years with her....... it is so hard only because we love them so much..... I am absolutely heartbroken.......

Hi, nina is settling in more this week. Ive been recording her and she hardly cries anymore. Shes getting used to her bed now and doesnt seem too bothered when we go. Still get a lovely welcome home from her! I think her personality is starting to come out now, we are finding that she is rather cheeky and has a serious shoe fetish!! Today while we were at work shed moved all our boots and slippers to her bed. Shes not chewing them yet but seems to like carrying them around. She sleeps through the night now without coming up to the bedroom door and scratching the carpet at half three in the morning (thank goodness that stopped). We are very proud parents and feeling much happier now we know shes a bit happier x
