When I came to pick my daughter up from the kennels liitle miss boo popped her head over the gate in the kitchen so I forced myself to go in and give her loves and kisses not an easy task with sam,s head popping up at every opportunity she is such a sweetheart I could easily pop her in the boot xx

Daisydog here 'Well am I EXHAUSTED. Had my first bronze off lead training today in a big fenced paddock with some new chums; a Labrador, a red setter and two cavalier king Charles spaniels. I was the prettiest girl....by far... and the most fashion conscious. Julie would be very proud of me cos I remembered all my training. Mum brought cheese so that helped a lot! I have to run about in a big muddy field until mum calls me and I run back to her to get the cheese. It's great fun. Didn't get a chance to roll in the sheep poo but I know where it is and am going back next week so its on my to do list.'. Really proud of my girl - not phased by the other dogs and a wagging tail by half way through the class. Next week its Fetch that Ball. Some hope! Love you Daisydog. xx

Sadly Michael is back at the kennels today. He has been out on trial with Carol one of our volunteers. Unfortunately Carol has found him to be too strong on the lead for her to manage. She was so upset at having to return him and would like to say he is a wonderful happy boy. He has got on extremely well with her other Greyhound. Clean in the house. sleeps through the night and is a quick learner, in fact pretty much perfect! Xxx

One of my greys had a helicopter tail too! If you can find a very soft foam hair roller you can pop the end of her tail in it to protect it....I have spent many happy hours trying to keep the foam roller on my old girls tail.....it will heal eventually but probably always be prone to splitting! Don't put anything vaguely adhesive on it - one vet I went to put Elastoplast on one of my greys - the stupidity of the man was beyond belief - maybe just be delighted she is so happy that her tail can't stop wagging!!!!

Delphy decided to sit on me while she was having her teeth cleaned today...I am not complaining, on such a very cold day she was a very welcome "hot water bottle"! She is a very happy, affectionate girl. Xxx
