Robbie (Luke)
I’m Homed
I love Luke so, so much but not sure our home is right for him in the long term. Dingo still growls and barks at him if he goes near his bed ( even though we have given them 5 beds between them to prevent squabbles) and he has just chased the cat even though he knows not to. I will foster him until he finds his forever home and hope things change in the meantime as we would all love him to stay part of our family (although maybe not Dingo or the cats!). He would really want a home with another dog as he really wants to cuddle up to Dingo and although he is fabulous being left all day while we are at work if someone was at home with him he might be less nervous quicker. He is extremely nervous on walks and will pant for ages after but he is so loving and gentle and just wants to be loved back. I love you Lukey boy. Xxxxxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi wonder if anyone has any advice about ted when out on walks he sometimes refuses to move as much as you tempt with treats pushing pulling fusses he refuses to go that way the pushing and pulling was when he was on half on the kerb half on the road scary luckily not a busy road Only way to get him to move is to go back the way you come any advice would be helpful as this morning we only got to the bottom of our drive before I had to return home only being able to get him out after having to get my daughter to come with us

Can understand your worrying. Lots of vets don't start their xrays and ops until the afternoon after morning consultations and the day can seem soooo long when you are waiting. Big hug from me and Daisydog at the seaside. xx

Harley (Crofty)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Arrived home safe & sound. It was a bit of a struggle getting him in and on to the back seat of the truck. Once strapped in he soon lay down. Showed him around the house on a lead and took him into the garden on the lead and straight away weed up a tree (the dog, not me). He has explored upstairs and all of the bedrooms on his own initiative. He has had a walk and was not strong and didn't pull even when meeting a small dog unleashed. I received a compliment from a man on my lovely dog first time out and he asked me if it was an ex racer and said that it was lovely to see them. Loving basking in his reflective glory. Just in case you are like me and thinking this is all text book stuff and surely too good to be true, he did search in my handbag and chew my mobile phone which now doesn't work. Hay ho, was due to renew in a week or so anyway. Love the bones of him xxx

Tom
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Tom has spent the day with Sue. She says he is good with other breeds including small dogs. He is not a "foodie", he didn't attempt to put his feet up on the work surface. Travelled well in the car....infact the perfect dog! Xxx

This little girl has been an absolute treasure stopping at our house. She was quiet all night and knows where to go to toilet! She is off to Fivelands today for her spey and dental...... she is currently fast asleep in the lounge after having had a fun time playing with the toys!

Buddy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Oh no, I remember seeing Bud's photos. We were looking for a greyhound at the time and Buddy was my fave, so handsome. We actually ended up with a dog from another rescue (also called Buddy!) Looking at your photos, it is heartwarming that your family loved you, you had other dogs around you and that you passed away quickly at home. Seven is just too young to go though. Best wishes to Buddy's family. I'm very sad for you XX
