How lovely to read this. I believe that we are privileged to give these dogs happy lives however short or long. When they leave us they remain always with us in spirit but leave a special place for another. So how wonderful that you are able to give belle a home. Xx

Jack joined us at Stratford upon Avon Garden Centre today. I think he missed the lovely Ellie, as he seemed happiest when leaning his head on his female companions. Not surprisingly, he had plenty of fuss and attention from the Christmas shoppers. As usual he was perfectly behaved in the car (chilled out in the back) and thoroughly enjoyed a brisk walk after the event. I confess to having a real soft spot for this gorgeous boy. Wishing you a forever home soon Jack. xx

We have a new addition to our family today..... Poor Louis took the loss of Josie badly he was so down and had bad separation anxiety we tried various things and had a glimmer of the old Louis from time to time but not for long. I didn't feel ready but we wanted to help him so we took him to Daybreaks and he met this beautiful little girl. I'm so glad we did. We have had her on trial to see how she got on with Louis and our cat Tigger, she has been great. Her name was Carol but we didn't think that sounded very doggie. We were debating names and I was calling her from down the garden with some of them. My husband suggested Belle and I when I called it her ears stood up and she came trotting up to me with her tail wagging. So Belle it is. Belle and Louis have become inseparable and we have our boy back again too which is lovely to see. Each day Belle is coming out of her shell more and more, she is such a sweetie. We have really fallen for her. We miss Josie terribly but believe she has given another beautiful girl a home and has helped another grey to come off the waiting list and gain a place at the wonderful Daybreaks. Thank you to everyone that has been so supportive over the last few weeks it has made a difference and we are really greatful. XX
