    I’m Homed

I never thought I could love an animal as much as I love our Tilly. Since being here we have seen her personality completely change. She has gone from being a scared and introverted little girly to a complete loonie! When I came in today from the school run I was mowed down by a very muscular, over exuberant mass of legs and a waggy tail! I was licked so thoroughly My freckles nearly came off! I can leave the room now without her crying and she is slowly starting to stand up a bit to my bullying cats. She still follows me around the house and I'm always tripping over her but she's so settled now. When we go on our walk she leads me home! Even my husband has said he is 'very fond of her' (he's never said that about the cats), so 'Thank You' Daybreaks for bringing her into our lives.

I am so glad Judy had a lovely morning out with you LucyandTinkersmum. You're so right, she is like many who don't show themselves at their best in a kennel environment - but get them out in a home and they are completely different, Sparky was a prime example of that (ok, I may be slightly biased!! but he was also a barker in the kennels but like a different dog at home in lots of ways). She is a darling and just needs someone to give her a chance. Fingers crossed for her. xx

We collected Judy from the kennels on Sunday morning so that she could spend the morning walking in the fields with our greys. She was an absolute angel! She was great in the house and great with our two greys, Lucy 9 and Tinker 5. She was good on the lead but likes to be at the front so will pull a bit if she isn't. Unfortunately, she's probably putting people off a bit with her barking whilst in the kennels but we never heard a peep out of her all morning. All she wants is a bit of fuss and attention - but then don't we all. If we hadn't just adopted our second grey, I would have had trouble bringing her back.
