Ruth enjoy your day off you most definitely deserve a day with your own doggies especially after all your hard work and effort yesterday !!!! It was lovely to see so many people at the kennels enjoying the dogs and the burgers !! Blade and Bertie would like to thank Robbie for his sausages, they came home so tired that I never heard a peep out of the pair of them until 8am this morning, which is a miracle for Bertie who gets me up promptly every morning at 6am !!!! Really well done everyone for another successful amazing day xxxx( the greys are so lucky to have you Ruth)

Minnie tried eating a wasp this afternoon thank you so much Ruth for the piriton I've been keeping a very close eye on her and she is fine. she been a very happy girl playing with her toys and trying to steal my tea x

Hi all. Any advice on the following. Just got back from walk round our park and both dogs were going mad scratching. Checked them and Coco especially has been badly bitten on insides of back legs by flies / midges etc. Lots of very sore looking red lumps etc. As i have done before with my other dogs have sprayed them with Savlon antiseptic spray - but what else can i do ? x. I have used piriton before but not on a greyhound ! How much would i dose a 30kg dog with. x

Mwahhhh! I love this new piccie too Ruth, shows Harry's melt your heart eyes & his inquisitive side all in one go. I didn't get a chance to share all Harry's goings on today with you at kennels but he is defo coming out of his shell a little more each day. Yesterday he did 2 new things - tried to grab my fluffy duster for a play & snatched my young daughters clean knickers from mid air as I threw them to her - he belted off with his prize, me in hot pursuit!!!! LOL!! Awww he is such a sweet natured boy, come on you guys give the boy a home. xx

We heard a whimper coming from one if the kennels today and it turned out to be Den. I went to see him and was chatting to him through the kennel. He starting making noises back. I went in and he tried to get on my lap. I tried to explain he is a bit big for a lap dog but he didn't listen and cuddled right up to me (half on me). If I stopped fussing him he put his paw on me for more fuss. Den is amazing and loves a cuddle. I think his a bit lonely and missing his kennel mate. We moved him to a kennel where he could see more of what was going on and he seemed a bit more settled. He would really benefit from a home soon. I have a huge soft spot for this boy, he has such a brilliant personality. Good luck in your search for a forever home Den. X
