Oh little Finch, what a shame. I'm sure your owner must be devastated. Hope your Fairy Godmother/Godfather comes along soon. xx

Fantastic news that Summer is reserved. Saves me from having the 'can we squeeze her in?' conversation with Joe!

Really pleased that Summer had a lovely walk today at Stratford she really is a beautiful girl, very friendly and loving. She did have breakfast this morning but didn't eat it all, crafty thing probably wanted to leave room for the yummy sausages.

It was lovely to meet you today, Minnie is really a little poppet.I hope your house move goes OK and you get the space for hound number 2!If you do decide on another one and would like me to bring one down from the kennels to meet Minnie on one of the walks, would be happy to do so.Just let the kennels know.

Hi Bernadette at the walk today we commented how much Summer looks like your boy Riley -if you look on greyhound data you will see they are well and truly related they appear to have the same dad and grandfather on the their mothers side.Well spotted!

Summer came with me Meg and my little lurcher to Stratford today she let them both know she was the boss and then snuggled down in the back of the car with Meg.She thoroughly enjoyed herself today sniffing about and lapping up all the cuddles bestowed her.She looks so much younger than 9 years old and seemed much happier out and about than in the kennels where she is very stressed having been in a home for 4 years. She had not eaten her breakfast this morning but I was glad to see she enjoyed the sausage treats on the walk.I hadn't realised she hadn't eaten breakfast until I returned her back to DAYBREAKS if I had she would have had doggy treats galore on the walk. She is a very beautiful looking girl who really does need to be back in a home.Perhaps some kind person would be willing to foster her while her forever home is found. She really did not want to go back in her kennel this afternoon-heart breaking.

I took Meg along with Summer to the Stratford walk today both these girls have been in a home and we thought they would like a walk in the spring sunshine as they are quite stressed being back in the kennels. Meg is a delightfully friendly ,happy girl who is lively and inquisitive girl. She introduced herself to everyone and was so pleased to be out and about on her walk. She traveled brilliantly in the car with Summer and my lurcher. Many thanks to Riley's(Boo) mum and dad for taking charge of her today- I think they were rather smitten with her - well who wouldn't be.
