Sometimes life goes against you and things happen that you would rather didn't. Molly and Pip were loved to bits by their previous family and they must be devastated that they had to return them. Rest assured Daybreaks will find them an equally lovely home and I hope one day they will be in a position to offer a home to some more retired hounds.Sending all our love to "the Brownies " , Molly and Pip from Debbie and Milly.X

Just had a look at her racing history .. this girl ran either 149 or 137 times (depending on which bit of GD you read) so she really deserves her sofa and she was in the first three over 80 times 🙂

Lena had a very quiet settled night - she is off to be speyed today and will be back at our house tonight until she is back on her feet x She is a little nervous but came up to me for a quick sniff and then darted off again!!!! 🙂

Hi sammyj it is so wonderful to hear how louis is getting on he was so adorable and that fact he was in bad shape only made you love him all the more because dispite his bad condition he was so loving when I met him, congratulations to you both, ps I love the pic of him in his new coat !! when I first had my last dog Charlie ( before Bertie ) he was so thin that I keot his coat on in public for nearly a month because I thought people would think that I was starving him , he came on so quickly that within a few months he was the picture of health and with that his personality and confidence grew !!

I'm so sorry, I've only just seen these comments. How rude you must think I am! Thank you for your advice, I will look into these options & I really appreciate your feedback. Discovered something new about Henry this evening......he likes to play fight/dance with my vacuum. Bottom in the air, tail wagging & whizzing around the vacuum head. This sent him into a crazy few minutes where he ran around the lounge on my sofa backs & tried to eat my Argos catalogue! He is a loon & we absolutely adore him. Helen x

Marco has had another great day & is settling in well. He did very well this evening at greyhound training-his recall very good apparently. He's got a bit fed up with silly Jasper today-was extremely tolerant of his rude behaviour until enough was enough & jasper was shouted at & bopped on his snout. This is typical whippet puppy behaviour-finds it hard to pick up on get off my face messages & keeps pushing it until he's firmly told. Thank you to all involved in offering advice in this area-I am learning every day & its super to be able to pick up the phone & know there is such a large network of support for anyone who needs it. Marco has been learning quickly today & is beginning to relax ever so slightly. He likes to lie by the tumble drier when its on but is now choosing to join us all & lie in the lounge doorway. This is super to see & we hope he's feeling ok here. Helen x

This little treasure has been brought to our house by her trainer/owner from Nottingham. She is just adorable - a bit nervous but she soon settled with the company of our greys. She ate her dinner, took herself straight outside for a wee and then went into the crate and settled down. She is beautiful x She is booked to be neutered tomorrow so no breakfast for her :-((((

Dat's my boy there on the right!! Scars, dents, scabs and bones, bless him, he is adorable and gorgeous, love him dearly. He is starting to put weight on. and the little coat that he does have is starting to take shape in a little bit of a shine, he has a soft brush every night. He's having omega 3 oil, kelp for his bald thigh syndrome, a multivitamin daily and his lovely Burns food with some fresh chicken. Ellie adores him too, he's an angel.xx

I walked him on Sunday morning and he was a charming dog. He walked well with no pulling and was fine with the other dogs we were with. He will be a lovely addition to someones family once a suitable home is found for him!!
