took buddy to vets today to be weighed, he went on the scales with no trouble. He weighs 30kg and we are trying to fatten him up a bit. The vet was amazed that he gets on so well with snoopy. Vet nurse said what a lovely dog he is, very impressed with him. Will take him back in about a month to be weighed again. Hoping to take him on the walk at Sutton Park on Sunday.

Hi, I am feeling braver now and the stable door has been miraculously left open, so no need to jump over it. I still follow mum around, but have learnt that when they are in the shower I will be taken by the collar and returned to my bed. I get the hint !!!! I still sleep with mum, but she goes off to work at night, and as every grey knows, a grey can sleep all day. Only been a couple of weeks and the walks with my pet, Eric, are great. Auntie Ruth has given my pets lots of sensible advice and Auntie Ina has made sure that my new home is just what I need, and gives me cuddles when we visit her. Will keep you informed.

Rory has certainly found his personality he was very vocal today when I was at the kennels - I was trying to coax Bertie into coming for a fuss when he just bounced straight across he had a good sniff of my 3 greys and then that was it he was bored with us and promptly sat down again you are a lovely boy such gorgeous colours

Ok Henry. Water bowl levitation one thing but your food bowl too!? The bits of dried food spread far & wide across the kitchen floor & are rather difficult to walk on. Reminded me of a scene from Tom & Jerry running over marbles! The treats when he widdles outside really worked-he pawed the back door to go out! Proud mum moment x

As my lovely foster boy will be going to his new home next week, we've had a busy day today doing all sorts of new and different things (just in case he's getting too comfy in our routine!). We had a long walk round the lakes this morning where he was fascinated by the screeching & wheeling of the seagulls and the general comings & goings of the various water birds. It was great to see him trotting along, ears up, watching absolutely everything. When we got back he sat in his basket whilst I polished and vacuumed round him - literally! He didn't bat an eyelid at the strange, noisy machine. As Michael was out, we then had a relax watching my "Les Miserables" DVD, which he seemed to enjoy as he fell fast asleep lying on the box! Such a sweetie. xx

I LOVE the picture of Henry & Jasper, it's lovely to see Henry so obviously content. You can almost hear him saying to Jasper "move up a bit matey and then I can have the WHOLE sofa!!" Helen, you may need another sofa if you ever want to sit in comfort again! Very best wishes to you all. xx
