Hi Caroline, thats lovely news, I walked Santa a few times when we had the snow, he was so lovely and playful, you really wish you could take them all home !! we were hoping to see you on Sunday at the walk but Bertie is booked into the spa day, so hopefully we will meet up on the next walk, give max a big kiss mx

Ah, thanks farah. To be honest he is just a dream and so easy to look after - and he is definately taking everything in with those gorgeous eyes! he learns so quickly. We'll be at the kennels over the weekend, and hoping that someone falls in love with him (just like we have!).x

Same here... Petplan were great when we claimed for Norris's broken hock. About to claim for Lola's toe and fully expect it to be dealt with quickly and efficiently. We have the covered for life £4k/yr for the 2 girls and this will be our first claim for either of them. Just be aware that an op. like Norris had at the Willows ate up that £4k in one fell swoop as there was an expensive scan as well as the surgery to plate & pin him back together. x

Thanks for all the replies everyone 🙂 Glad to hear Mottee's not alone in this bonkers behaviour! With him it's not even as if he's worrying away at something, not as dogs do if they've got a patch of sore skin or something. Instead he opens his mouth and takes huge great chomps at his thigh and gentleman's parts. Snapping would be a better description, the whole circumference of his thigh in his mouth. I'll have to take a video of it...daft as a brush!

My Emily does it too. It's as though she has a small itch, but then gets totally carried away. If we didn't ask her to stop, she'd 'drive' her bed across the kitchen. She does stop straight away when we say "no" and gets up to give herself a shake and then everything's forgotten, so I put it down to her having a bit of a moment! Why they choose to do it when you've got guests though.......! Mand x

Update on our wonderful boy - having spent 6 weeks not being allowed off his lead due to torn tendon in his toe, on his 2nd time off lead he damaged his shoulder, so back on the lead again! He's completely mad off lead! Other than that, he's incredibly loving and gentle and makes us so happy xxxx
