Walter
I’m Homed
Julie came last Sunday and was amazing, really generous with her time and very reassuring. She had some really great practical tips for training Walter which we have started to use. Walter continues to be a star, he hasn't snapped since the incident that I first posted as we have been listening to what he is telling us & I am feeling more sure of him. It seems like he is more sure of me too and is showing lots of affection in his own way and in his own time which is lovely. We are very lucky, he is such a nice boy and is so good when we leave him on his own. Bless him, despite a few anxious moments I wouldn't swap him for the world.

George (Stevie Sunshine)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi All, I'm planning on bringing the gorgeous George in to kennels tomorrow afternoon, around 2 all being well. So if anyone is popping by to get a grey, you'll get to meet George in the flesh. He is a super lad who has come on leaps & bounds this last couple of weeks, really learned the rules of my house, so a very ameniable boy. luv t

I am over the moon at the results today! They have come back showing the salivary gland tumours were benign - YAY!!!!!!! She has had to have a couple of staples where one of the stitches had come lose but her swelling has gone down loads. She is well on her way to recovery and is just the most perfect house guest. I am desperate for someone to offer her a home now we know she has the 'all clear' - if you are interested in a happy girl who is such a good girl, please get in touch x

Santa 2
I’m Homed
I've got Santa 2 just for the night before he goes off to his foster home tomorrow and my word, what a lovely boy he is. His solution to everything seems to be tail wagging. I took him for a quick walk round our field after I picked him up from the kennels and there he met two horses and five sheep. With the horses he sniffed their noses and wagged his tail very enthusiastically. The sheep were a bit confusing for Santa - initially they bolted off across the field, which was met with bouncing, a little spin and a small bark from him as he wanted go go join in. Then the sheep ran straight back at us, only stopping a few meters away. Poor old Santa was a bit unsure, it is not often that the thing you think you are meant to be chasing comes running back at full speed towards you! Santa likes our Retrievers and has only been mildly interested in our chickens in the back garden. He's also shared a bed with Minnie (not even a grumble from her, which is highly unusual) and ate his dinner well. He has also met a very bouncy Labradoodle at my Grandma's house this evening and was not phased at all by the exuberance of the other dog.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Passed on messages to Dad (no computer) and told Gemma about Bertie's toe. She was definitely listening, so big eyes watched me to whole time I was speaking. Took some nice pics of Gemma, must bring lead in and download to send to Ruth.

Davey B
I’m Homed
We have had the invoices in for Davey's treatment as he was in a poor way regarding his teeth when he arrived and was not up to date with his vaccination. The treatment so far has come to over £700 :-(((( If you think you could help in any way, please click the donate button next to any of the dogs that are currently available (as the donate button disappears once a dog has been homed). I know we are always appealing for help but you can be assured it goes directly to help pay for the phenominal costs the Trust incur to help these wonderful dogs x
