    Over the Rainbow Bridge

I don't know why no one has snapped up George yet either, he is a lovely big lad. Bouncy & occasionally vocal (to go for a wee or get his dinner), he is getting more & more well behaved each day. His stealing is calming down (as I thought it would) and he only tried to take food from my kitchen worktop once this week (Roast chicken just lifted out the oven). He is brilliant to walk, very calm & amiable. He is clean in the house, eats really well and doesn't hassle my other 2 greys at all. He loves a fuss, sits to take his treats and has very loveable eyes. So give this loving boy a chance. xx

Yvonne, He will settle soon. He was the same when we had him over Christmas, but once he knew the routine, he soon settled. I'm sure it will be the same in his new home. We wish you all the very best, he is fantastic hound. xxx

Well done for being such a good boy at the roadshow Santa. I don't blame you for being a bit overawed - I bet it was really noisy and so many strange things for you to take in all at once. Lets hope that you have stolen someone's heart and your new home is just around the corner. xx

  • Zac

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

I just adore Zac! He is fairly small for a boy, and at the moment is quiet and sometimes seems a little bemused by the comings & goings of the kennels! He is an observer, and watches what's going on around him - and it still makes me smile remembering his problem solving with the food! He may be being overlooked as he isn't overly demonstrative, but he does enjoy a fuss and I think he just needs a bit more human interaction to really come out of himself. Big cuddles for you my lovely boy. xx

I'm sure the lovely Buddy will settle to his new routine very soon, he is such a gorgeous boy and has been through a lot just recently, so will just need time to feel his paws and get used to his new home, and his new little friend. Good luck to everyone. x

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Famous last words but everything has been nice and calm for several weeks , ok she did steal a tomato this morning , but I think ( hope) Carrie has now got used to the etiquette of living in a home , when I go to work now , I maybe get one wee , its been a long haul and thats why I haven't posted anything for a few weeks , I just wanted to make sure She had got the idea , which she now seems to have done. The main problem I have now is everyone who visits me wants to take her home with them !!! Carrie is just what I needed

    I’m Homed

just re-read my earlier comment, it should have read "chased MY chihuahua" not chased "BY" my chihuahua, I really should wear my glasses! He has had a couple of walks today but in the house will only lie on his bed if I sit down, I am sure he will get used to me moving around and realise he does not have to follow me round.
